    Holyfield's analysis is always on target. He usually chooses the winner as well. His analysis is better then the HBO guys and he picks up on the actual issue. Floyd has WAY more to lose then Pacman. Pacman wins if they ever fight.

      he didnt fight him at his prime before the 2 losses. i do not know the reason why but 1 loss to a great fighter doesnt make him a bad fighter. the people still want to see this fight because it will generally be a good fight.

    Floyd knows he's not sure on winning against Manny thats why he doesnt like to fight him..that's the truth and lets admit it. Floyd is not just afraid of losing but afraid of getting hurt, he said before its about being smart fighter and to avoid being hurt or hit in a fight. He knows what kind of fighter he avoids.

  • @Oliiiverr
    @Oliiiverr 10 лет назад +3

    Many has just as much to lose, he's been named fighter of the decade, 8 division champion and is dubbed as the only fighter capable of dealing with Floyd running away. Floyd has a lot to gain by taking the fight, since a large bulk of people doubt him and call him a scared pussy always dodging manny fights and undeserving of his title.
    If he takes and wins this fight, he'll forever lose the coward label that's become attached to his name and everyone will say he deserves his title.

    • @fmkilledme5765
      @fmkilledme5765 10 лет назад

      He wants to be the fighter of the year and the man whom he is ducking from is the fighter of the decade. hahahaha. His career is just lying on having the 42-0 record, his career was never been in the "Best" categorization, but all about money.
      Manny vs Mayweather fight is the only way to save his self from all.

    I have to say this about Evander Holyfield. For all of the punches that he has taken in his career he comes across as someone who is able to articulate himself very well and you can actually understand him when he talks. Some of these boxers you can not understand after a couple of dozen fights.

    so why did people still love Ali? after he bragged, lost and came back. I think that's what people respect more, the fact he came back. Unlike with Naseem who fought lost one, came back for one fight and stopped, a lot of people believed that he could make his come back, and if he did it would of cemented him in boxing hall of fame if he wasn't already for his style.

    Evander Holyfield and Manny Pacquiao are both really the nice guys of boxing. Buster Douglas, Razor Ruddock are also good hearted guys. My father and i met Razor Ruddock in 1996 when i was 21 yrs old and he signed a pair my of gloves and took a pic with me and my old man. Razor Ruddock was huge and intimadating looking, but Ruddock was a true gentleman and he was just the nicest and sweetest guy ever.

  • @patricioganio953

    Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will be equally remembered. because they are of the same generation fighters and bothe are exciting to watch. The difference, however, is that Pacquiao generated more excitement in his fights, because he fought bigger fighters, while Mayweather did not. Floyd Mayweather, despite his perfect record of no defeat, will be remembered as the fighter who was afraid to fight Pacquiao. This, for the record, is a credit to Pacquiao's legacy in boxing.

    When a boxer brags that he never and cannot lose...he's putting so much pressure on himself. It only shows his fear - something he cannot handle well when that thing happens. Pacquiao does not claim he can't lose...all he said is that I already reached what I want to reach and just want to fight one or two more before retiring. Mayweather doesn't really want to be Pacquiao's last in the list...so he avoids the best because like he said: "I can still make money(even if it's not a big purse)."

    True. Manny vs Floyd would be a good fight for the sport of boxing, but it isn´t a must have. The sport will continue regardless. Like Floyd said to Merchant; Out with the old, In with the new.
    If this fight never happens, it will be remembered in a way like when the Mogolic Empire never fought The Chinese Dynasties. It would have been a clash. Or when USA never fought the Soviet Union, another clash. But only remembered. Empires fall, new ones rise. Just like boxers

    Tyson was the baddest man on the planet and he got broke. Evander has lasted longer than most people in boxing. Not long ago he actually won the WBA title for the 5th time. But he was robbed against Valuev. before that he beat Fres Oquendo,Vinny Maddalone, Lou Savarese in a row. Had a close fight against Ibragimov. Right now he holds the WBF heavyweight title at the incredible age of 48. Just one look at Holyfields age and body says it all. He has lasted longer than anybody in the game.

    Evander understands this game. There has to be a "villian" (sounds crazy but thats the way it is). Ali and Tyson had three times the followers Evander could ever dream of, and true boxing fans know they had MANY who disliked their "Character", But had no choice but to idolize their abilities (whether it was behind closed doors or not). Controversy sells all the time. In short Pacquiao has to be one of the LOWEST PAID nice guys for such a HUGE following. Geesh! call me the bad guy any day.
