    Wow!! This really did the job work really well took out heavy scratches in my car window. My scratches on my driver side window were really deep. I used the Ryobi hand drill D43K speed 1600…
    depending on how deep your scratches are, this needs patience in order to get the best results. Now would I do this again probably not. I’ll probably have somebody professionally do it for me next time…
    BUT!! the product definitely works!!

    Will glass be as perfect as new glass after the polishing stage.. or is it slightly noticeably it's been worked on

    • @GlassPolishShop
      @GlassPolishShop  8 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you for your question. When glass is polished correctly, it should appear as perfect as new glass. With a bit of practice, the difference between the treated and untreated areas should be minimal, if noticeable at all.

      @@GlassPolishShop I believe they mean the original poster of the comment never came back to review the product or process. Maybe they haven't gotten it or used it yet or maybe they just forgot. What I wanna know is are these sanding discs any different from the sand paper at the local hardware store, besides the attachment style? Can I just take 60 and 120 grit sand paper and go to town on a window, then polish it and expect the same result? Or is there some proprietary grit used to make these different?

    • @GlassPolishShop
      @GlassPolishShop  7 месяцев назад +3

      @@gr8mystery These are not ordinary sandpaper discs. They are optimized for sanding glass. Ordinary silicon carbide abrasive discs will not provide the same results. Additionally, please note that '60' and '120' are not the grit sizes; they are the model names GlasX60 and GlasX120.

      Si vous souhaitez polir toute la surface, nous vous recommandons d'utiliser un kit de 75 mm avec une polisseuse rotative.
      Une polisseuse rotative sera beaucoup plus facile à contrôler dans l'espace restreint de l'aquarium par rapport à une perceuse électrique, en particulier dans une zone de 50x50 cm où il peut être difficile de manœuvrer une perceuse.
      Veuillez consulter le lien suivant pour voir le kit que nous recommandons: ruclips.net/video/-dFwoqyz47M/видео.html

    I am not affiliated with the company. This is my honest feedback after purchasing the product.
    The delivery was within 24 hours. The grinding away of the glass to remove the scratches is straightforward. There is plenty of polishing compound and it’s pretty easy to bring the glass back to clarity. If you want to remove scratches from glass, this is product to use.

    How many windows can a kit do?

    • @GlassPolishShop
      @GlassPolishShop  19 дней назад

      Thank you for your inquiry. The number of windows a kit can restore depends on the depth and extent of the scratches.
      In general:
      • DIY Kits (used with electric drills) are designed for smaller areas where scratches are concentrated in one place.
      • PRO Kits (used with rotary polishers) are better suited for full panes of glass and larger damaged areas, such as shopfronts, patio doors, or big windows.
      To provide the best recommendation, please email us the following details:
      • The number of windows you need to restore.
      • The size of each window.
      • The approximate percentage of scratches on each pane.
      With this information, we can advise on the most suitable kit and estimate how many consumables you might need to complete your project successfully.

    great video! do you have to worry about the heat of the glass??

    • @GlassPolishShop
      @GlassPolishShop  8 месяцев назад +1

      When working on glass, it's important to keep an eye on the temperature. You can use the palm of your hand or a thermometer to check. If the glass gets too hot, just pause for a bit, let it cool down, and then continue.

      @@GlassPolishShop How hot is "too hot"?

    • @GlassPolishShop
      @GlassPolishShop  3 месяца назад

      @@larrybud Please note that every type of glass is different and can handle varying levels of heat during the polishing process. It’s important to monitor the temperature to avoid overheating.
      The best way to check if the glass is getting too hot is to use the palm of your hand. If the glass feels hot to the touch, it's a good time to stop the process and allow the glass to cool down before continuing. This will help prevent any potential damage during polishing.
      If you interested please contact us by email so we will provide you with the Glass Temperature Guide for different types of glass.

    will this affect tint if you want to tint your windows some time after?

    • @GlassPolishShop
      @GlassPolishShop  4 месяца назад +1

      The process can be used on non-tinted windows without any issues, and it will have no effect if window tinting film is applied in the future. However, if the glass already has a tinted film, we do not recommend using the process as it may damage the tint.

    • @GlassPolishShop
      @GlassPolishShop  Месяц назад

      Thank you for your feedback. Our kit can be used on manufacturer-tinted windows, where the tint layer is within the glass itself. However, if the tint was applied as an external film, scratches are typically on the film surface rather than the glass. In these cases, our kit isn’t suitable, as it’s specifically formulated for glass scratch removal, not for use on tinted film.
