Sweet! Your timing is exquisite. I'm sitting here with a couple of bills from my local landline provider. I was disappointed because they didn't come with a mask and a gun. :) One question: Given I am drinking from the proverbial fire hose as it relates to working with SIP trunks, etc., and having just now set up an account at Telnyx, in addition to their help content, do you have, or know of, some good, solid online tutorials. Essentially mapping telco 'words' and concepts into my brain. Thanks Willie!
Telnyx support is second to none in my opinion. If you're having doubts you should open up a chat with them from their website and you'll get a live agent in seconds. Tons of docs for many devices.
Do a “test” run (with any provider) before you go all in…. LoL that sounds kinda dirty 🙊 And always always have a failover plan/solution so when the time comes you’ll be set 👍🏼👍🏼
Hello Willie, do they demand an ID verification? I don't own a company so I'm actually searching for a SIP trunk provider that allows personal use. Thank you for the video. Best regards Casbah.
Hello Sir, I have configure SIP & we are using incoming & outgoing (DID & DOD) in UCM & now incoming DID is working , but DOD i need to configure . please advise how we can configure DOD in outbound
They might be cheaper than my current provider but my volume of calls is so low that it wouldn't be worth the time to switch over. If they are more reliable then I would be interested. I've experienced roughly 2 outages a year with my current provider.
I currently use Flowroute and ran some numbers in comparison to Telnyx, and I personally have about 12 DIDs, but a low volume of calls, and Flowroute comes out cheaper because DIDs are only $0.50 each (and I've never had an issue with them on 3CX). But I have a client with 3 DIDs and a high volume of calls, and Telnyx would save them about 25%.

Did u find someone with solid online tutorials?
Ohhh, free termination to 1-800. Might be able to use that with my existing sip provider (Anveo). Thanks! :)
3:15 The price is .5 (point 5) cents per minute, or how I like to call it is "half a penny per minute", not .005 cents per minute ;)
Can you use Telnyx SIP with just a verified number instead of purchasing a DID?
Looks great but are you able to do a full setup from opening the box to getting dial tone. Looks easy but the fear of setting up is what hesitates me.

You could also test service etc with a free softphone (Like zoiper) before buying an IP phone and using that.

Cheap enough to build VoIP for home office, keep personal cell numbers private

@@cybrstudd are you still selling Voip services on the side?
Hey Willie about to ditch UniFi AP’s. Had enough. Grandstream AP’s. Keep UniFi protect investment for now. Whatcha think ?
For wireless, go with Aruba. They make the best overall access points IMO.
But wireless is like the strongest point of UBNT.
What issues are you having with unifi?
Thank you!
Have you checked out Skyetel?
Awesome!
Does Telnyx allow you to get international phone numbers (like Russia)?
@@WillieHowe I just checked out Telnyx, and it starts at $8.75//mo plus $0.008/min out to & in from landline & $0.216/min out to mobile.

I will never pay a a cell phone bill ever again. :D
it is not worth have company like IT support who's using phone for mostly more than 4000 5000 minute per month.
Depends on your rate for your country.
cool, push people in that direction and not to the providers that we use.
