I like the contest change so much. No longer will a single thief be able to make a waypoint upgrade useless by just tapping a keep with their stupid mobile survival builds. And the siege changes definitely encourages small team havoc to flip towers and be more aggressive instead of depending on a tag with a large group. Gotta see this all in action asap, hopefully it works as intended.😊

If you hunt small parties of roamers… I said party… it’s the same as a tower capture. How is that not making objectives worthless? I have been matched up in the beta with the giving and receiving teams of spawn camping. This is going to perpetuate so HARD. 23:40 Do you visit EBG or play WvW? SMC is covered in trebuchets… not to defend but to attack the closest towers and vice versa.

Unless these new tournaments make all the angry children leave ranked, it is unlikely to revive PvP in any meaningful way. New players never get the chance to become good, unless they're exceptionally motivated, because some really stupid, really angry teens with no understanding of statistics or the matchmaking system, try to gatekeep the only mode that gives meaningful rewards
Wait, what if a gate/wall is only repaired to 50% after an attack. Will a single player still be able to contest the keep, and the only way to stop it would be to repair to 100%?
Okay. Ranked needs to die. Ladder (ranked) is a failed concept in every game. Every Game. So collapse ranked and unranked and make pip rewards more like WVW with time invested. Tournaments are the real competitive mode.
How about they just start banning people for wintrading so newer players can actually get better titles? Why would you ever bother trying to get good in pvp if you wont be able to get any good title bcs every high ranks are just wintrading and nobody cares. Maybe those bans would get a new fresh air in pvp since mostly all top player would suddenly be banned.
2v2 and 3v3 would be more fun if they didn't allow counter switching between rounds and it was only solo queue. The way it currently is, the top players are all premades who run the most versatile classes and switch builds between rounds to counter. It's lame. I'd like them to add some 10v10 and 15v15, stuff similar to WSG (CtF) or AB (5 point control on larger maps) in WoW. This 3 node control has been stale for like 10 years. Side note: As someone who has played sPvP on and off since release and has somewhere between 4-5k matches played, I never played in the tournaments.

I for one do not need DarenwithanS to talk about his PeePee or needing to PeePee during a discussion about P V P... That can be later if he so desires... And as such think certain words need a little consideration in their pronounciation. =-) I hope that helps you with my bit of fun poking the Darens.... I have done it with his pronouncation of KoFi and he knows I know he does it for fun... Tbh, duels are the least popular way to pvp. It wouldn't make sense to make an entire system for 0.5% of the player base.

I can have 5 straight matches with afk'ers. I really wish there was a better distribution of these types of players. Better yet, ban them -_-
