i'm glad they've finally added a vendor who takes all of these useless currencies, but MAN i really wish they just added the vendor, instead of making it part of a mastery that takes 11 million XP and 27 mastery points to unlock...

It's only better on Fast because they peg the price of the currency box to using branded masses to craft and sell Diviner's gear. If you're just eating them for VM the trophy box is the same profit with less steps.
Some of the items to trade in are still worth more to sell at vendor. Overall though the vendor is really nice. Im currently just trading my bloodstone and emps for the weekly as those are 2 materials i have in mega amounts and this vendor is helping using them up way better then the gizmos.
@@darensgw2 the chilli conversion is about 3 silver with 45 copp per 1k karma at best i think is ok if you have millions of karma, but there s some flush 4 instasell that are better and take 10 flush to do it for an non repeteable way to spend karma i will not put it in a top, but works if you dont like flush and you have millions of karma
Cost is kinda high for normal/casual players to do all that converting just for a few extra gold. I know for me I get maybe 5mill karma in a year and spend about 2mill or more of it on obby shards to make legendaries. So don't really have alot of extra for all that converting now if we had Darren's amount of 45 mill then yes convert away lol
6/6 of the guilds I'm in never run guild events, at least not at times I play, so being able to exchange essences for guild banners is nice!
agreed. the recent WvW guild banners inclusion helped but it was very limited. this latest inclusion from this vendor helps a lot!

Those HOT map materials (the dust and oil) are 100% useless to me so I am glad I can trade them into map currency, which I can still use!

So mainly you can covert essences into volatile magic. The chili karma cost is really high.
yeah but what else are you gonna use karma on haha
Having got my obsidian armour I am using the essences to buy geodes for my precursor achievments
Chilli for ice isnt good, you spend karma+karma to very low quantity of volatil, is not a good way to transform karma into gold
