A corner built like this might be short lived imho... i personnaly would prefere make a 600 gold profit over 10-15 days of working on a gen3 rather than add a 30+ minutes on my farming routine which os already long enough as it is

Early access for a card game... Anything but this, I guess.

It may be a GW3 announcement. If it's GW3, I hope it's an official announcement and not a release. They have a lot of learning to do with balancing, etc.. All MMORPGs are running with stale bread at the moment. If it is GW3, I hope it's focused on story, exploration, a balanced system based on synergetics (not class balance), and a limited guild system where guilds are capped at max content (raids are 10 personnel, then guilds max at 10 personnel). This wouldmake it very engaging.

I swear the comments would react completely different if it wasn't their favourite good boy Mukluk doing it. You're not making it personal, it's the commenters. Also arguing that the additional bandwith used is a "non-issue" is such a privileged position. Not everyone has the luxury of unlimited unthrottled internet. The fact that people choose the side of less control over their own internet usage and outcomes of their own actions baffles me.

i be happy to see gw 3,also will be great if game will be clear PvX game with more pvp content like siege wars,teritory wars,open world pvp this is what we miss in gw 2!

Nobody wants gw3. Only ppl that dont care and respect the work and hrs they put into gw2. Hot take but honest take. Unless u can transfer all ur stuff I would prolly quit GW entirely if it was another standalone MMO.

I think a very telling note is that in the job descriptions they are saying it is a AAA game. I may be wrong but card games and arena games usually aren't marketed as AAA games.

seems more likely to just be the card game to me, I really don't see a gw3 being announced anytime soon

A Single Player Gw1-2 game that bridges the gap between the two games, plays like Fable 2 or KoH Reckoning or retells the core story with a better Zhaitan fight perhaps? Gw2 Classic? Gw1 retold in the Gw2 engine? a Krab Toss Championship game? An Elder Dragon's Mmo that plays like Gw2 but always on Mounts? A totally different Mmo designed by Anet with the Gw2 Engine like an Mtg mmo or better Lotr Mmo? There's a lot of possibilities, all my ideas are probably not it but I'm curious what they're cooking.

If they are doing Guild Wars 3, I hope it's gonna be like Path of Exile 1 upgraded to 2. All the stuffs you have invested in previous game will be in the new game; All cosmetics, bags, legendaries, etc. But looking at the trend, Final Fantasy 11 to 14(remake), Guild Wars 1 to 2, Diablo 2 to 3 and now 4, people tend to leave the previous game (even though there are some ppl still playing them but it won't be their main source of entertainment)

I hope it's an engine update. Seems very unlikely, but I hope.

More click bait, won't be gw3 in a capacity of a entire new mmo, lol no one in 2024 is going to abandon a 12+ year mmo and expect people to abandon all the $$ they put in for a garbage squeal, it does not work in 2024, imagine if blizzard did that with wow, lol would lose all their players. Arena Net is small to, they can't be that stupid. Unless it's NcSoft putting up the bill and making some cash grab version. Arena Net already confirmed 2+ more expansions for gw2, lol aint no gw3 coming in 2026...

Dragons end is my favorit meta. Its cool fight, its hard a bit harder, it has nice phases and its rewarding. And doing it everyday will lead more or less to a free aurene precursor a week (ok, you also need 50GS) selling for about 160-180g on top since you more or less selling your playtime here in terms of imperial fervor

While I can agree to some of these things as copying or reiterating on an idea, you can't really say WoW stole Homesteads or Fractals. Housing in WoW would have already been in development much sooner than Homesteads were even announced. Not to mention, you'd have to agree that GW2 stole other games housing ideas, no? On the idea behind Fractals, wouldn't you say GW2 copied Diablo 3's Greater Rifts system? Which would then in turn give Blizzard the initial idea behind M+ in current WoW.
