I love how Cassie is so unbelievably smart that she created a “sub-atomic Hubble telescope”, and yet when everyone gets pulled into the device minutes later she dramatically asks, “Where are we?” Where else would you be except the quantum realm?
In the commercials she knows where she is, but still I’m sure it would make sense for her to be confused by her settings at first glance before it really hits her

“We want new Tony Stark.” What the audience want: A new protagonist with compelling arc and development who will lead the franchise forward. What Marvel is doing: Making everyone a child prodigy engineer like Tony Stark who builds advanced tech out of thin air, without any proper set up what so ever.
The beauty of Ant-Man is seeing him navigate our everyday world in smaller and larger scaled perspectives. Experiencing the microcosms. A hole becomes a massive cave, dust becomes an major impediment, etc. So to put him in a world where size and scale don't exist.. Kinda defeats the purpose.
@Blondie472 Well while what you described appeals to us geeks, you forget these films are made for normies. And Ant-Man's... ANT-tics don't appeal to them as well.
they should've made the villain Psycho-Man (I think that was his name) who is a Fantastic 4 villain (so they can lead into FF) and rules an area of The Quantum Realm, he even kind of looks like Kang!
I fucking hated the fact that everyone went sarcastic when Scott mentioned him saving the universe (he didn't do it alone but he was the one who convinced Tony in endgame to even consider doing the "time heist"). They didn't need to go like "Oh but what are you doing right now?", "How'd that work for you?". The fucking audacity sheesh.
Literally. It worked out great for the three of them! They'd still be gone if not for him (and the rest of the avengers) the writing just doesn't make sense and the characters feel and act way different than the last time we saw them.
@@riahw3750 Exactly! "How'd that work out for ya?" "Well actually, it seems it would've worked out better if I didn't help save the universe because then I wouldn't have to put up with this bs right now." Honestly if the response I got to helping to save the world was "ok, but what now?" I'd have a conniption
That kind of attitude has been carried over from the comics. The public in the Marvel Universe come off as ungrateful and petty a lot of the time and that's one of the main reasons I've always preferred DC.
The MCU is on quite the cold streak. The last few years have been a string of misses. I don't have much hope for Daredevil or Fantastic Four at this rate
You know I just realized something. In the trailers it was implied that Scott would be convinced to work for Kang after he offers him the the opportunity to make up for lost time with his daughter, basically he'd be given the same deal Kang offered Janet. Having been incarcerated and then trapped in the Quantum Realm for 5 years he effectively missed her entire childhood and now he's watching her follow in his footsteps, making the same mistakes he did when he was younger. It would be a much better conflict if Scott had to come to terms with the fact that he missed out on her growing up and that he had to accept things as they were despite their relationship not being ideal. Too bad that isn't the movie we got. What a missed opportunity...

@@thevarietychannelofyoutube4769 no one said they need to. Which wasn't what marvel did every time showing a woman. Gamora? I mean shit, even Jane when she's just being a scientist isn't that feminine. She's usually not the damsel in distress. Thor's mother I'd say is a good example as well. The OG comment was making a point that the trend nowadays is that people will say masculine qualities aren't great... on men but when a woman shows those same qualities it's being praised. It's the quite literal definition of being a hypocrite. No one is demanding women stay in their lane and men do the same. All people want is a character written well and a story that makes sense. No one gives a shit if a woman wants to do what men generally do or vice versa. We just want them written well. And unfortunately hardly anyone in Hollywood has the balls to just write well. They all gotta have some narrative towards real life.

Easy fixes they could have done 1. Have Janet actually explain the dangers she faced, and imply that Kang is building an army and a machine to invade "Earth" from the Quantum Realm, but this warning only motivates Scott and crew to go into the QR in order to stop Kang from finishing his plans. This makes their journey to the QR heroic and brave, rather than accidental. 2. Show Hank, Scott, and Cassie building the "telescope" together, as a family, in order to send Scott/Antman (alone) into the QR and stop Kang, without telling Janet or Hope (to avoid conflict). Only they can't get past a design flaw so it won't work. Janet and Hope find out what they are building, and object, and during an argument that takes place inside the 'portal chamber', Cassie in the background tinkering with the telescope, fixes the problem and suddenly the machine sends everyone into the QR. This again, reduces the amount of "accidental" in the mission. They intended to go to the QR, just not as a whole family. 3. Don't have Hank be such a cuck. Have him actually feel rejected and betrayed by Janet's infidelity, have them in conflict, and have her choose Hank in the end, during a battle where they both have to 'sacrifice' of themselves for each other, and that repairs the trust. 4. Have Kang win. He WINS! Antman and Wasp fight Kang and his army as a distraction while Hank (who dies in the process), Janet and Cassie sabotage Kang's machine. Scott and the rest of the family barely escape, knowing that Kang will fix his machine and is coming for them, and the rest of the world. This will create an anticipated tension for the next 'Dynasty'.
This sounds WAY better than what Disney made. It always fascinates me how some little tweaking can make huge differences. But Disney activists are so up in their own butt they are literal life-action Cassie.
Kang should’ve killed Hank and Hope in front of Janet, then put her in a cell and made her watch their deaths over and over on a loop, just as he threatened Scott with. We need to FEAR this dude, and there’s nothing here to scare me.
What's crazy is a LOT of poeple thought Scott and Hank were gonna die! this isn't some crazy fan theory some random content creator came up with. a lot of us got that vibe so it's stupid they didn't go this direction and build up tension. i can understand not killing off scott and maybe just leaving him stranded in the QR while hank and maybe Janet die but geeze cmon give us some stakes marvel. we haven't had stakes since we lost Widow and technically Gamora although her loss won't come to true fruition until GOTG 3 when Gunn shows us that our version of Gamora is truly gone and you can't just take a multiverse copy to fill that void

Yeah I had a problem from the moment where everybody was downgrading Scott´s achievements like literally inventing time travel by using the quantum realm, saving the entire universe thanks to that and even getting to become a famous writer with his own famous book based on his experiences as a superhero, they were all ungrateful and Cassie got that stupid generic teen attitude of being mad at her father for not being with her as she grew up AS IF IT WAS HIS FAULT
It's what I hate about the Antman movies, somehow Scott always has to take shit from everyone despite all the heroic stuff he's done. It's like Marvel/Disney doesn't want his character to be perceived as anything else than a screw up in some way and it's annoying
@@KudokuMaoh right? at first it was understandable that they just wanted Scott to be another comedic hero, but come on, the guy has done as many amazing things and even more than many other Avengers and now has a good life and even gains money from a book based on all of his experiences and still has to be treated like a buffoon and a childish idiot by the entire Pym family and his own daughter who somehow thinks he hasn´t done enough for the world and for her, screw all of them

Imagine if they had used the Infinity Gauntlet storyline in the films and had Thanos simping for Mistress Death. That would have been terrible. At the end of the day a good story must be the top priority and if it's comic accurate great.
Newtons acting was downright terrible. I got so annoyed when she was on-screen. The whole “stop being dick” is beyond cringe. Her speech was empty. No depth. They cannot cast her ever again.

@nont18411 And even then Tony Stark was always a genius. He was a product of his environment, a kid growing up in that world of a rich weapons builder. It wasnt out of the question for him to build a Stark reactor in a cave with a bunch of scraps. Cassie was just a teen living a normal teenager life in a normal suburb neighborhood. There's no way she would have been able to do what she did.
I love how someone tried defending Kang being defeated by literal ants such as "This was a weaker Kang" or "Don't worry, they're just setting up him teaming up with Dr. Doom". Are you seriously fucking with me?
He wasn’t defeated by ants though,he was trampled by them.he actually wasn’t defeated by anyone he was taken down in the end by his own tech.and HONESTLY,we don’t know if he really was killed.
The issue is that Kang is in character being defeated by ants per the comics. I imagine sooner than later they will bring in a Kang for an event to make us forget that all avengers characters aren’t c tier at best until 2005.
The most memorable part of the movie experience was when my dad convinced cinema cleaners to skip the credits so we could watch the post-credits and get out sooner. We were just 7 people in the room.
I think Michelle Pfeiffer's role in this deserves its own video because of how illogically problematic her character is. i mean all this should have been avoided if she just informed everybody about the Quantum Realm and Kang, right? That needs a whole analysis of its own, her harmful silence.
I genuinely thought she slept with him and that’s why she was so hesitant to talk about it. That would at least be understandable. She doesn’t want her family to think less of her.
That, and one other overarching issue which makes the whole movie fall apart. Due to the lack of explanation They can get big via the regulators in the new suit, or with their lil get biggy devices. So they CAN theoretically get out of the quantum realm. So why don't they? ESPECIALLY why don't they once they're all in a group?
@@hothotheat3000 But if she knew that Kang was a danger to all of reality she SHOULD have swallowed her pride and informed everyone how dangerous Kang the Conqueror is. Janet has no soluble excuse for not informing the Avengers immediately after escaping the Quantum Realm and after the defeat of Thanos.
*Why has everyone forgotten Endgame* so quick? Bucky fought in WW2 and saved the universe.. Ant Man was trapped in another realm and is the reason the universe was saved - then all of a sudden people say RIGHT AFTER ENDGAME, “You’re not doing enough”
They managed to ruin Cassie in five minutes. Audiences loved her character throughout the Antman movies. When we see her in Endgame, we felt bad for her. Then when she's given a chance to shine again, they hire a new actress a made her absolutely sour. Plus, when was she ever stupidly smart? Never. Just another unbelieavable forced push. If you want smart woman, stop making them ridiculously young and making stuff way beyond their years of knowledge.
Nah I can't. Reviews for this have ranged from "terrible" to "not as bad as everyone makes it out to be". Which is my problem... Marvel has been doing minimal effort developing these movies and shows and it's apparent. Everything in Phase 4 has felt like a first draft in the writing department. There needs to be checks in place so you don't have a character saying something as asinine as "Well what do you do?" To the whole reason the world has it's full population back, and everyone (including a genius) agreeing with that take. I've been done with the MCU since She Hulk and it doesn't look like I'll be hopping back on board any time soon.
I might have to borrow/steal that one. I'm glad I'm not the only one who wonders why there was so little of Ant-Man and the Wasp in Ant-Man and the Wasp. You could cut one out - or both - and surprisingly have mostly the same experience.
Bring back Russos, Give the reigns to Scott Derrikson for Doctor Strange 3 and, This one's important--- " Get un-woke as soon as possible". It's not helping by any means.
Even when I watch bad movies, I'm never angry about it. I just shrug my shoulders and forget about it after I get home. But it's been days now and I'm still genuinely angry anytime I think about this movie. A large reason is because they were portraying it as such a huge consequential movie in the overall MCU story, but it was the opposite as nothing significant happens. The other reason I went to the theatre was because I was expecting Kang to make a huge first impression and cause major destruction in this movie but he was extremely underwhelming in the plot and basically does nothing. I was basically expecting him to win similar to how Thanos won in the end of IF, but nope. I genuinely can't remember ever feeling this annoyed and angry after watching a movie in my entire life. I know there's worse films out there but this one just felt like such a let down
It is a plot twist. It's a reality where Scott is the hero and everything is working out for him and going back to "normal". So that he and the rest of the family will never feel the inclination to meddle with the QR again - and it's possible that none of the rest of the Avengers or any other superheroes reside in this reality as Scott know them. But possibly Variants or non-existent altogether. The Council doesn't want the Avengers working toward taking on the Multiverse, so what better way than to divide and conquer? I liked the movie, considering it had to be toned down, and there was some cons like all movies, but the ending was what stoked me the most. This Kang wasn't even the baddest or the worst yet to come, and that's exciting. He was just the intro to the rest of the Kangs.

I’ll die on that hill with you. Morbius would be in the running for best MCU product since endgame. I know that doesn’t say much of anything but it’s true.
They should have used the Multiverse as a tool to raise stakes and bring in the X-Men. F4 could be introduced in their universe with an origin film. But the multiverse should have been used so that the longer it’s connected to our universe, the more destruction will happen to our world. That would raise the stakes high
I would prefer the Spider-Verse route they took with multiversal travel. The longer you're in one location, the more you suffer because (science shit for the MCU) you're not supposed to be there. That way it would keep the doors open for crossovers (like in NWH,) but also keep the 'primary timeline' clean. AND raise stakes for multiversal properties/crossovers, with 'that' being the overarching problem. Acting as a timer if you will. The X-Men and F4 are just bonuses this way. Not necessities I want to say Reed is necessary to make something to traverse the multiverse, but honestly a room of 6 3rd graders should have it done within a week, going by MCU logic
The problem to get to the Fantastic 4 and X-MEN as fast as possible, it's going to do the same thing they've been doing with phase 4 of the MCU😵 They have made it clear they want Sue Richards as the lead not Reed Richards and with the X-MEN, they don't like the word "MEN" in X-MEN, so you know what they're going to do with that storytelling😣😣😣

For me, I feel the issue here is that there is such an obvious push to retire the older characters or keep them out of the spotlight too much to pump up the next gen, but the problem is most of them are uninteresting because they are either unlikable, already got the heavy lifting of learning done, or just don't have any real charisma that says "I can be a big face on this." And I am not waiting another 5 or 10 years until they start to get it before already being too old to continue and get replaced. Merely a few like Falcon or Moon Knight may still have some potential.
Shoutout to the movie for Scott writing a book to catch the audience up and tell the audience what’s happening in a funny way. If only the last 2 ant man movies had a character whose sole purpose is to catch the audience up and tell the audience what’s happening in a funny way. Like where tf is Michael Peña
Of course they gave Kathryn Newton almost the exact same role she had in Supernatural: the older version of a previously established character who has run-ins with the law but can “take care of [her]self” all as a result of a distant father figure.
This movie was buns, but they actually did show him “talking” to the ants way early in the movie when they were walking in the forest thing. He reached up and touched his earbud thing and made a funny face in the background lmao
Imagine if Disney let directors actually direct, and if we had received an Edgar Wright Ant-Man trilogy... I'd like to think that happened, somewhere in the multiverse.
One thing about Everything Everywhere All at Once and Multiverse movies, I think it was a small movie on a big stage and that's why it worked. The fundamental relationship between mother and daughter that carried the movie was established in the baseline universe, expanded upon with the multiverse, and then returned to the baseline relationship for an emotional payoff. If there aren't potential consequences in the universe we are invested in then it makes it much harder to care. Starting in the multiverse and passing through the main MCU setting or being set in some inbetween will never have the same emotional connection for the audience.

I’m gonna be honest I liked the scene where he duplicates and he gets lifted by all his duplicates. Probably unintentional by the writers but I think it’s done to convey how much Scott loves his daughter to a point where he’s willing to help a version of him that means he’ll no longer exist. That could be completely unintentional because I’m giving the writers way to much credit. The ending was also abysmal it would’ve been so much better if Scott got trapped in the quantum realm again to save his daughter but doing that he’s doing the one thing he doesn’t want to do and that’s leave her but nope they just do something stupid that just removes all stakes and impact the ending has.
As long as James Gunn had total control over GOTG it should be guaranteed great. It's crazy what you get when you have a director with a vision and who is also at least somewhat competent, rather than say directors who's husband's read she-hulk comics so that means she wants to direct a show without even touching the comics herself.

The MCU thinks it can dig out any D-list character, write a woke script, and put it on the big screen. Basically, they miss both Tony Stark and Steve Rogers. The only way the MCU can be saved is by Bringing forward the Fantastic Fout, and X-Men. If they carry on the way they are going, these movies will be played in empty cinemas.

Was talking to my wife about superhero movies the other day(while she’s not into that genre) and i think the main problem with the state of comic book films is the over saturation, and the over abundance of films we are getting, in the past 3 years we’ve gotten handfuls of shows, movies, and now line ups with more shows and movies. Idk about everyone else, but I’m getting burnt out hoping for new , innovative films that focus less on agendas, less on release dates that kill films, but a steady line of films that tell a good, compelling story with characters that are written well to the extent. I also wonder if they're even redeemable at this point. The reputation they once had of "I don't know what this is, but I know it will be fun!" Has utterly shattered; instead replaced by a reputation of boredom. We shall see. It's sad seeing such a great media company crumble.
Marvel wants "new" actors to replace older actors because, A) They are cheaper and cost less. B) They can be controlled easier and have not better options. C) Lower risk due to not needing to make as much money at the box office to make a profit.
If literally saving the world is not admirable to Disney just because you're a man, but abandoning your family to get a career that will make you have massive regret just five years later at most is admirable to Disney if you're a woman, I think we know who the real villains are in American society are.
10:51 So, a literal pile of goo has more of a character arc in a movie about Ant-Man, Wasp, and Kang than Doctor Strange in a movie about "Doctor Strange"..??
Was really hype since I always like Ant Man since the first movie. Going out theater disappointed, can't even remember most of the middle part. Cassie went from the one and only support for Scott that helps and understand him the most changes completely, like, I know it's been years, but come on you don't even show the REAL reason she change. I swear though, Scott has been through a lot, like so much. from prison, to divorce, to remarriage, having to deal with time gaps, like can't you blame him for having a happy life makes him, you know, happy. I just can't fathom why they belittle him like that
I love how Cassie is so unbelievably smart that she created a “sub-atomic Hubble telescope”, and yet when everyone gets pulled into the device minutes later she dramatically asks, “Where are we?” Where else would you be except the quantum realm?
In the commercials she knows where she is, but still I’m sure it would make sense for her to be confused by her settings at first glance before it really hits her

“We want new Tony Stark.”

And without realistic sources or fundings. Just miraculous genius teenage girls who can literally create advanced tech on their bedroom.
All the new kid avengers are just automatically geniuses. Which makes tony stark look like an amateur.

Bruh you shouldn't have any hope for Daredevil after the utter embarrassment of a tv show that was She-Hulk and the way they portrayed him in it....
Reshoots?
That's not even remotely the deal he offered. He says help me or I will kill your daughter. That's it

Easy fixes they could have done

Not necessities
I want to say Reed is necessary to make something to traverse the multiverse, but honestly a room of 6 3rd graders should have it done within a week, going by MCU logic

Truly one of the movie scenes of all time
It's Modok'in time!!!!!
He Modoked all over the place. What a dick.
Truly an event that transpired. One of the times of my life for sure.
people still use this unfunny joke and then say the movie humor is bad
-"Youre not doing anything with your life."
-" I saved the world from Thanos and bailed you out of jail just this morning."
That part at 5:40…I was directly infront of the screen and I couldn’t believe how poor the green-screen/background was. As for Modok, I know that’s what he looks like in the comics but was this the best they could come up with? I laughed when he revealed his face. Weather it was supposed to look bad on purpose, it’s just embarrassing.
People are saying that MODOK also looks goofy in the comics and this is the best they could come up with but...Are you fucking with me? A shitty game, Marvel's Avengers made MODOK look at least OK in a realistic world. Marvel stans should stop saying that this goofy ahh streched face which reminds me of sharkboy and lavagirl is anywhere near being good.
I was laughing every time I saw modok he looked so goofy
Me 2 the entire theater we were in was laughing cause he looked so goofy, can’t blame them.
The actors involved deserve better material than what they had to work with

Finally some one speaks the truth about Kang character in this movie. Many people hold back their criticism because the actor is black
It's the Black Panther situation all over again
No...its because he is Da Wuz Kangz
Exactly he was awful
@themarinect
It's not because he's black, but because he's a good actor. And unfortunately given what I've seen, he's given a trash character.
They casted a black guy as a literal Kang, but the people that criticize it are the racists, right...
This movie did MODOK the literal WORST WAY possible.
Also I like how Hank was literally “AY YO WHAT THE FUCK” The WHOLE time

This movie was buns, but they actually did show him “talking” to the ants way early in the movie when they were walking in the forest thing. He reached up and touched his earbud thing and made a funny face in the background lmao
Imagine if Disney let directors actually direct, and if we had received an Edgar Wright Ant-Man trilogy...
I'd like to think that happened, somewhere in the multiverse.
The reviews for disney/marvel products are better written, more funny and competentent than the actual products.
Glad to see this movie is getting some backlash. It was BAD and marvel needs to be held accountable.
What they did to MODOK is unforgivable.
1:55- If you want your lead characters to be compelling write them like you want your audience to be compelled.

The movie also hearts my ears with terrible dialogue
Wait, so Kang is from Centuries ahead of us in terms of tech but he didn’t know about to get out of the Quantum Realm? You know since he got banished
It was literally the only place who could hold him the real mistake was sealing him there with all his stuff
@@deviljhodenzel5818 yes, the movie says that. but it's missing WHY. "pym particles can't be created in the quantum realm" or, even better, "pym particles are only found on earth". because as it stands, you're left to assume that kang, super sci fi smartest man in the universe dude, is just too stupid to manage what a dude did on earth back in the seventies. that's the problem with kang in this movie. over and over poor writing or a script left with too much for you to assume ends up creating a complete moron to play the role of kang.
I don’t think the mcu is stale, I thinks is the “Nobody dies, joke in every tense situation, nothing really matters” formula that’s getting old
MCU is just getting stale slowly, especially how underwhelming Quantumania performs at the box office compared to the previous Ant Man entries.
Kang is definitely not the new Thanos. He would make a good single movie villain but definitely is a terrible main boss.

Rambo: Last Blood
Human Centipede 3
Fast and Furious 6 - 9
Knock Knock
Scary Movie 1 - 4
Iron Sky
Guardians of The Galaxy 3 is the only MCU film I’m looking forward to that actually looks pretty good.
As long as James Gunn had total control over GOTG it should be guaranteed great.
It's crazy what you get when you have a director with a vision and who is also at least somewhat competent, rather than say directors who's husband's read she-hulk comics so that means she wants to direct a show without even touching the comics herself.

The fact they were able to make some of the others interesting was a happy accident IMO...they just came along for the ride. Dipping down any further is a crap shoot and it appears crap is exactly what we got.
That plot summary was funny!!! 😂
My biggest disappointment about quantumania is the quantum world itself… in theory they should be smaller than photons but there is light, oxygen, gravity is just like ours. It feels such a waste.
yes yes that exactly what i said , the unique n of the quantum realm was that it was ematerial because he goes smaller of all the atoms that form a molecule, but then you get to the quantum realm and there is water?? when supposedly he just went smaller than the atoms that form oxygen and hydrogen. im annoyed at the mcu inconsistentancies

I can't believe how bad and sometimes inappropriate this movie really is that I even had to explain some things on my 10 year old son when he ask about that hole of a man that produces a liquid substance that can be drink and consumed just because a pink slimey kid ask Scott about that thing in the freaking movie! Who in their right mind would thought that such an inappropriate joke should be put in a family movie like Ant-Man? And why did Peyton Reed even allowed that joke to be included in the script?

@@robertbench5187 bro like...no offense to you personally....I feel like some parents are part of the problem. You guys keep taking your lil az kids to these grown az movies, which boosts revenue for these perverted film companies, and all they see is the bottom line so they figure, welp, we'll give them more of the same, since it worked so well the last time. So they keep making adult themed PG-13 movies that generate huge revenue bc they know that you'll go watch, and you'll bring your kids along too. It's why Hollywood has gotten so out of control in wealth and power. No consumer constraint.
My parents didn't take me to see ANY movies that were PG-13 until I was a high-schooler. By that time I usually went on my own or with friends anyway. Only PG or G rated family flicks as a kid, maybe once a season or a couple times in the summer. . If we all did this as a society, they wouldn't make NEARLY as much at the box office, and they'd have to rethink their strategy. Since graduating college last year, I haven't set FOOT in a theatre, bc I realize how full of sh*t Hollywood really is, most of it is just propaganda trying to influence impressionable young people into an ideology they've never even lived before. It's all BS once you see thru it. Anyway, Just my two cents bruh, I appreciate you being willing to discuss w/ me.
@@cadenhnc I just wonder why they just let this kinds of inappropriate things to be shown or said on screen in a supposed family friendly movie. Like it's Disney! Their target audience are kids and in marvel section most of the target audience are obviously young boys that's why it's very shocking for marvel to include such an inappropriate joke about an Man's private area in their movies. It became so obvious when they started showing scenes of Tom Holland undressing his clothes to his undies on screen when they all know that the theater will be filled with lots of young boys who just wanna see a Spiderman movie👀😬
It almost makes me not to want to watch any of these films or shows anymore.
The only shows imo that are even worth watching are underrated gems like invincible, and the boys, hell even jupiters legacy was great, but they cancelled that because of mixed reception and the fallout that is an imploding Netflix, and didn’t give it a chance to improve.
Also EDIT: I enjoyed the video and I respect your outlook on these films, the MCU blowhards make it tough for giving an honest review.
There’s 2 reasons and 1 is obvious
1. Disney’s making Marvel a cash cow.
2. There’s so many shows because they want people to get Disney+ subscriptions to watch them.
I was proud of Falcon when he got the shield from Capt.
Followed by immediate disappointment when they hand fisted him into a show about Falcon praising a terrorist murder. Not very ‘Captain American’ if you ask me
Maybe be being a father of a daughter, yes, you are worried about your kids. I mean Im not Ant Man of course. Her being smart is in line I guess with the comics. Scott Lang is an electrical engineer in the comics. While not in league of Reed Richards and Tony Stark, it has been show he is one of the "smart ones"
I really hate the fact every side character is a fucking genius and invents some cancer curing tech at 14 that is used in every wrong way and also with no prior combat experience wins against gangs and entire armies just because
Marvel either isnt hiring competent writers, or they're forcing them into bad creative decisions.

Ever since the conclusion of Endgame, I was excited to see what was coming down the pipeline. I was concerned yet optimistic about how Marvel would create more interesting movies/shows that would become the next phase of the MCU for the next generation of kids. Unfortunately, the stuff we’ve gotten since Endgame has been horrible at worst and decent at best. It’s sad to see what the MCU has become after over a decade of amazing characters, writing, and overall storytelling. At least we’ll always have the original stuff
Honestly I've completely given up on marvel at this point. A lot of other people have too. I wonder how many it takes before Marvel gets the message.
I also wonder if they're even redeemable at this point. The reputation they once had of "I don't know what this is, but I know it will be fun!" Has utterly shattered; instead replaced by a reputation of boredom.
We shall see. It's sad seeing such a great media company crumble.
Majors was the only one who took the job seriously, everybody else were in a star wars spoof
Marvel wants "new" actors to replace older actors because,
A) They are cheaper and cost less.
