Great video! I just set mine up today, and this video is just what I needed!
Thank you! You’re going to love it!
Thanks for the review. Ordering this grill today. Definitely wanted to make sure two slabs can fit on the lower rack.
Thank you and thanks for watching! You might be able to fit the whole pig on this thing! 😂😂😂
I really like this video, thank for the walk threw. I got mine coming today can't wait to put it together and just do its first burn then tomorrow I will do some grilling and smoking ribs
Thank you! Love the grill, don’t ever see myself buying another one!
Thanks brother awesome review! Matter of fact.
You’re welcome and thanks for watching!
great video ty
You’re welcome, thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video. Does your grill come with the charcoal pan? Also after starting the fire how long do you wait to use it? Last question do you still like it? I see you made this video 3 years ago.
@@delphiadaniels4198 Thanks for watching!!! No charcoal pan. I wait until the coals are white (best that way). I really like it, perfect for me!!!
Going back to the pan, rewind to when I was cleaning the grates. Charcoal goes on a tray that you can raise up or down.
Thank you.
You’re welcome! Enjoy your grill!!!
When your finished, How do you get the ashes out of the grill?
I usually place aluminum foil or aluminum pans at the bottom of the grill (under the grates). Clean-up time is easy!
@@derrickwhitley Thanks!!!!.
Heavy duty aluminum foil
I have one like this, haven’t used it yet. To me, the gauge of the whole unit seems to thin to me
It’s time to use it!!!
I've been doing my research I've been wondering if I should buy it?
The space is great, temp can really get up, it’s great for what I paid! Give it a try!
@@derrickwhitley thanks I will
It is definitely a lower tier smoker but that doesn't mean you can't make good barbecue on it
Definitely! I love it and will be using it for years to come!
@@derrickwhitley Are you still using it? I'm thinking of buying one for my first grill.
@@DH-cg6qx Still got it, still using!!!
I have this same grill, what's the best method you use to upkeep and keep the outside of the grill nice and clean to last longer?
I bought a waterproof grill cover from Amazon… acoveritt heavy duty.
I wipe it off here and there…
I bought a can of Rust-Oleum high heat spray paint (black) that I’ll try in the near future too. Thanks for watching!!!
What model is this… I hear stories about the paint chipping
CC1830S from Home Depot. They have something from Royal Gourmet that cost more if you’re concerned about rust.
Hey how isnthe grill doing? I wanna know because i want to buy one but ive seen reviews saying tha paint burns off
I think you’ll like it. I’d fill an aluminum pan with coal just so the bottom wouldn’t rust. It’s exactly what I needed and I’m glad I bought it - it’s a great upgrade.
That was my question… every review talks about the paint chipping
@@unclebris30 it’s not thick metal and can rust if you don’t cover it. I have a cover for mine…
@@unclebris30 I think people are having issues with the bottom of the grill. I put aluminum foil on top prior to it chipping but it seems to be okay…
I’ll be doing a video on how to restore it, it should look brand new when I’m finished.
I thought that was the whole bird😅
Might as well had been! Sure is big enough! 😂😂😂
Bend the hook tighter.
Why didn’t I think of that?
Thank you!
That is not how you cook ribs. They need to be slow (250 degrees) cooked over a long time period.
Too much coal. Should’ve wrapped them first, just underestimated how hot the grill could get. I almost always do low and slow. Those ribs were great though!
@@derrickwhitley dont worry about blaine. Everyone is a professional on youtube
The side chamber should have the coals in it when cooking ribs, mine take about 7 hours,I use cherry and apple wood combined with lump charcoal
Лайк 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
