These towels are pretty incredible. I really like them. Every once in a blue moon, I'll find what I'm removing, the towel will be a little "grabby". These towel are extremely nice for rinseless wash. Good video
Don't even get me started. I recently bought two 41" 5-drawer toolboxes just to store and organize the towels. It's working out really well. Open a drawer and six stacks of towels are there for the choosing. A separate drawer for the glass towels, another for drying. A drawer where all the coating towels live. Woof! I use the EE (orange) for a final buff and a QED. Soft plastics, too.
Here's the scary thing; after putting all the towels into the boxes the drawers are filled. No space left. Gonna do lighting in the spring. Fresh paint, too. Aside from not having a lift, this should be a pretty decent setup.
It's a beautiful towel, indeed, and worthy of a review. Bad timing for this upload though as the towel you are using in the video is discontinued (buy it while supplies last!) Not discontinued in a bad way though - they are expanding the Eagle lineup and the 480 gsm will now be a 500 gsm. They will also make an Eagle in 600 and 350 (the slot formerly held by the Wizard).
That's the best part. They will be upgraded to a little bit better build quality I heard and a little more GSM at the same price. Hopefully that means they will have a big sale on the original Eagles in this video to push out the older towels
Thanks Brian! Firstly, great towels! I do tend to use them in my last process only though. I like something with a little shorter nap to remove compounds... the Eagles seem to get filled up on the tips of the fibers instead of the base of the fibers and then I feel like I am moving stuff around. But I will try it and maybe just plan to use more towels. Most importantly, I have been using that Enigma QED all wrong... no wonder I did't like it. I went out to my coated vehicle and put it on with an applicator (as a topper), then wiped it off. Amazing! I was errantly using it like any other QD and thought this stuff is junk and really tough to remove. I was just using way too much. Thanks for the unintended lesson! :)
Love you your videos Brian, do you have a video on al steps on applying ceramic coating ? Would love to take notes on that one. You seem to be one of the most honest and reliable sources.
I’m not sure if you’ve seen Scott’s video (Dallas paint correction) on Shiney’s detail 500gsm edgeless towel but that’s a great towel! I just got 20 of them to try out and they’re $2.95 a piece!!! The edge is not as refined as the new eagle edgeless (I have plenty of those as well) but I’m also not buffing with the edge. For the money that’s going to be my new go to towel.
I had some older ones and they lint like crazy. They said that in 2018 they updated them, and hopefully the linting problem has been mitigated. I threw them in the trash half way through a polish job because of that.

Felix... we are true junkies for detailing supplies!! Lol

The 480 was a perfect gsm for me personally.... but 500 may not feel much different.

A shorter nap...say 300 gsm or less should do the trick for you.
I didnt understand the rinseless wash part about the B Towels
my eagle 500s lint like crazy. I keep going back to them expecting a different result. Must have gotten a defective lot.
I jus ordered eagle eggless 350 an 500. looking forward to using them for the first time
Very nice towels but I've been using their 800GSM Everest towels for rinseless and waterless washing and love them.
Cant go wrong with any of them👍🏻
They are the best!
Ramphis Infante agreed!!

What kind of microfiber do you suggest for car windows both in and out . No ever mention towels for windows . Thank you

I love these!!
Me too Loops
You can use one towel for a full vehicle? I’m interested
Yup....getting some of these as well.
You will love em!!
Just picked these up. What a beautiful towel.
Excellent video Brian, always looking for great microfiber towels that you don't have to work hard to remove wax, sealant.......!!! Thanks Max
Thanks for posting this. How do you wash these towels
I do mine with Gyeon towel wash
You need to do some more reviews on microfiber towels
👍🏻😁
I bought some cheapos off Amazon that weren’t too bad.
Bird poop would have slid off that hood like water, if you wouldn’t used the Gyeon Prep!
Glenn Massengill Hahahahaa... indeed! 🕊💩
