Token can rap, he's pretty damn good at it actually. His polished flow, multisyllabic rhyming ability, and lyrical prowess are all worthy of praise. Despite all that, I'm just not able to get into bro's music. And it's hard for me to pinpoint why exactly that is. It's definitely not due to a lack of skill. Vaguely, I think it's more of a style preference. Because I feel similarly about a lot of the rappers Token is often compared to, such as NF, Hopsin, Dax, Tech N9ne, etc. Not saying I dislike all their music across the board, because they've all made individual tracks that I enjoy. It's just that among the music I've heard there are a lot more misses than hits, regarding my personal tastes.

Thanks for being a normal level headed person lol I respect that opinion broski it took me a while to get into bros music I think as far as that niche of rappers it’s the delivery being kinda the same a lot of times? Not sayin every song sounds the same but a little too similar sometimes that’s why I find JID so refreshing for me cuz he’s so different with flows and cadence but I’d recommend listening to “Well” by Token it’s one of my favorite songs from him off of the between somewhere album which is my favorite album of his

Don't trip fam, he is definitely a mood. There's so much more than just being able to rap. A perfect example is Eminem, I rarely like em songs but I acknowledge how absolutely nasty he is at rapping.
