Incidentally, three former Herbalife executives were involved with running the Tupperware company into the ground, and that classic brand declared bankruptcy last week. After gaining the top and two other executive positions at Tupperware, the company took on hundreds of millions in debt and developed severe accounting irregularities, with delayed financial reports since the end 2022.
It may be a classic brand, but when eating food from their old containers, I could always notice the taste of plastic 😅 With so many glasss alternatives nowadays, I haven't bought one of their products in years. Sad but not sad, especially if probably unscrupulous people got richer with it 😢
I was getting smoothies from a local smoothie and herbal tea shop near me for the last year or so when I read something about them being a front for people to sell Herbalife supps. I looked into their website and there wasn't any mention of Herbalife upfront but when I looked at the products for sale page, they had loads of Herbalife stuff. That explains why they couldn't swap ingredients like I asked once. It's all a packet plus some ice in a blender. Darn, tasted pretty good and was convenient for me. I'm better off making my own, anyway! 🙂
i really wantd to support my local smoothie place but same thing happened. they couldnt do the simplest swaps for dietary needs so i could only have one of the smoothies anyway 😞
My local smoothie & juice shop also cannot sub out some ingredients unless i bring my own (everything is possible here in Indonesia). I only buy smoothie there when i’m out of town w/ no access to high speed blender.

Not surprised! There are at least 4 of their shops in my hometown!😱 folks everywhere sucking down those “skinny teas” .. I’ve heard of a few experiences locally but didn’t know it was to the level.
Yeah, I’m really hoping they do videos for Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS)… it’s becoming a major issue and no doctors really understand it… so far they just know antihistamines and some supplements can help symptoms… these help but I’ve always preferred natural food solutions and it makes me nervous to take all these things. I never took Herbalife but I take other recommended things like Vitamin D + K2, Magnesium, NAC, B12 complex, and more… There’s some vague reports of people overcoming MCAS through tailored treatment of gut microbiome fixes and taking supplements to support proper Mast Cell functioning, but no one seems to really know how or why or what to do 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ Treatments have to be tailored to the individual and then it’s like “trial and error”… very frustrating… Some whole foods are high in histamine so some people with MCAS have a severe reaction (sometimes even anaphylaxis). I’m fine eating most whole foods but also I could worsen my symptoms with the “wrong” things.

Back in the late 80s or early 90s my dad was a big Herbalife person and probably took 25 or more pills a day… Totally crazy
Is he alive and healthy now?

How safe are herbs like milk thistle from companies that use pharmaceutical grade standards and testing for their products?
I am actually taking their vitamins for women , and I used to drink their vegan cocktails :( Man, are there any safe supplements?
Goodness! Thank you so much for sharing
Can we trust any of these companies??
