I didn't even realized it was TMM instead of NMM when I saw the thumbnail! Amazing video as always, there are so many helpful tips in one single video.
This was a really great video, I have bought some paints as I watched so I can use some of those recipes - Can't wait to give them a try! And I liked the length of the video, personally thought it was the ideal amount of time.
I much prefer the longer videos. The more info the better. You make it look so simple! It looks great too. Saw this model on the warhammer live feed. Heres a challenge for you, can you take a blade guard veteran and paint him as a space wolf please? Complete with any additional you deem necessary. I love the model but I'm struggling to make it work. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it. We'll get around to doing a few Wolves recipes for sure, but check out Pete the Wargamer's wolfy bladeguard ruclips.net/video/iQugtz-kdaY/видео.html
This is the most relaxing painting video I have ever watched. Also, now I'm about to scrap my custom chapter I just started painting and do a DA successor chapter instead :'D
We'd have to disagree there. Having seen the 'eavy metal paintjobs in hand the level of neatness and precision are fantastic and the finish is beautiful. It's exciting to see them evolving their style too.
Love it! You mention skipping the wet palette for the steel. Why is that? I heard you say it’s mentioned in other videos, but I haven’t yet caught those 😇
Do the scale75 metallics not separate too bad? I've found that the citadel/vallejo paints barely hold it together and after a few minutes on a wet palette they need aggressively mixing again. God forbid I mix two different metallics together 😂
Thank you! I thought because you gave it a wash of despair green if I should take something with blue or red in it because of the blue. Thanks will try this!
Thankyou for commenting. The level of contrast is always a challenge and very much personal taste. It's a busy model and I wanted the focus to be on the bearer.
Really nice video again from Henry. Personally speaking, I don't mind the longer videos, I might go as far as to say that I prefer them.
Good to hear, we'll make sure we do plenty of them where appropriate.
A lot of great ideas in here. That reliquary bone recipe though....amazing! Thanks for sharing and please be safe!
Thanks Rob, glad you enjoyed it.

That's great, thanks for letting us know.
Really nice love that bone colour , love to see how you did the green rob
Thanks! I've popped the colours used in the description. And we've done some brush painting on robes on our Sisters of Battle video.
Loved that Despair Green... I just want to dive right into it...
The Fantasy Games range has some great colours in it. Perfect for this sort of application.
@@cultofpaint Would you be able to recommend a suitable oil alternative that matches Incubi Darkness? Thanks

@@cultofpaint thanks for the link, I'll check it out.
Your channel is popping off! I don't even own/play with miniatures but I love watching these kinds of videos. Top quality content man!
Thanks very much!! We're enjoying doing them.
Love the longer form.
Would love to see how you would tackle fire effects.
As in modelled flames? Like a torch?
@@cultofpaint
Yeah, and how you'd go about casting its light across the model
Ah so OSL. This is a topic we cover quite often in our Patreon articles.
Liked the video. The gold recipe was awesome. Music was a little weird for me though lol. Can’t wait to see more videos.
Glad you enjoyed the content. Our quest for the perfect music is ongoing!
Very nice. That bone would suit ossiarchs really well too!
Couple people have said that, would be great to see some armies done using it.
So good! You're giving the model so much character :)
Thanks, it's such a great model. Some really nice pieces in that box.

Haha awesome!
Can't wait to hear if my pre-order went through
If it did I will paint the banner exactly like this
Fingers crossed!
@@cultofpaint pray for me brother
just found your channel, loving it so far, keep it up!
thanks! We'll try.
Could you do a tutorial for a black space marine power armour?
Coming up very soon.
@@cultofpaint Nice!! love how you paint those space marines!
Great tutorial! Can you do a video on how to do that green on the robes? As it looks amazing!
Check out ruclips.net/video/sOgF19pYf98/видео.html for how to paint the robes. And i've listed the colours used in the description.
@@cultofpaint thank you!
these tutorials are fantastic, keep it up!
Thanks! We'll try.
I can't wait to give this a go!
Make sure to tag us in the results!
Thank you so much for this video
You are very welcome, thanks for watching!
Good job i love it!
Thank you!
The splat of blue on the gold near the purity seals 😬
amazing
Thanks!
Amazing! The GW painters never do these models justice.

MEtallic paints separate out quickly on a wet pallette
Do the scale75 metallics not separate too bad? I've found that the citadel/vallejo paints barely hold it together and after a few minutes on a wet palette they need aggressively mixing again. God forbid I mix two different metallics together 😂
Depends on the colours, and also the amount we're using on the pallette. A drop or two tends to be fine.
Really nice! Would you change some of the colors if it was for a ultramarine? I paint them after the recipe in your video so a darker blue.
This scheme will still work great on the ultras. I did it for my heresy ones.
Thank you! I thought because you gave it a wash of despair green if I should take something with blue or red in it because of the blue. Thanks will try this!
Try it out! Always fun using flat colours on metallics to change them
Does anyone know an alternative for Scale 75 despair green?
Dark angels green contrast would work well.
I'm always down for a Night Lords tutorial...
coming up!
👏
Thanks for the support!
where did you get the head you used for this model?
It's from the Deathwing box. There's a bunch of good ones in there.
Death guard or some other traitor legions please.
Coming next month!
I thought Metallic paint on a wet palette was a big nono?
Some are absolutely fine. The MCS are not
Gorgeous model, but I think that there isn’t enough contrast between the bones and the gold, these are just the same tones

aos bonereaper in this old bone style you did here
Yes. Yes. Yes
