Ppl who are criticizing archie signing are the same ppl who would call other teenager like kobie maino, yamal world-class. Gray can start in our midfield any day of the weak. He has more experience than other teenagers who basically jumped directly from u21/u18 to first team

Ndombele ran the show against City twice in the CL. I'm not sold on Gray. Especially for 40m fee. We didn't give VDV long to adapt to the PL. Similar fee, Gray should hit the ground running. He's also taking spot of an academy player.
Give it a month or 2 & all these fan's not expecting anything outta Archie, will be singing he's name from the rooftops, believe me . . . i mean Bellingham came from The Championship ffs & absolutely starred in the Bundesliga for Dortmund

Honestly I'm happier with Tottenham signing young players trying to develop them because that's what we need if we want to buy the big name players. We need some academy players or young players that develop into stars and then spend big on established players to complete the team. All these fans shouting for us to spend 70-80 million on each player don't realize that we need young players and homegrown players that can come in and develop into stars as well. We can't just buy 4 players every year and sell 8-10 because we won't have a squad doing so every year. It's not realistic to do that, and we'll never be on the same level as Munich, Madrid, Barca, United, City, Liverpool, Juve, PSG. We just don't have that financial pull or historical allure so we need to develop players into top talent. We all cry for our young players to get a crack, but when we sign young players we have a group of fans that don't want them. Ramos, Ronaldo, Bale, Rooney, Mbappe, Haaland, and countless more were talented at a young age and were given a chance to develop into superstars. Not every signing is a hit and that's a fact that apparently Tottenham fans can't get over. We paid 30 mil for Soldado who was an "established" striker from La liga and he turned out poor, We've never bought established players at their peak, and probably never will and fans need to be okay with that.
Signings and transfer links so far have been great but…who’s our striker next season? 🤔

Everyone raving about this signing. An 18 year old coming from Leeds. I don't see how this is going to bolster our chances to win something next year. If I don't see any quality signings by the end of the window - don't expect much next season

Or invest in an 18 year old gem who is starving to win trophies gain experience learn under Ange loves the manager wouldn't complain about his minutes will play for the badge is versatile or do you want overpriced players for 50-70 mil i.e ndombele with attitude problems he had the talent just no work ethic to show for it . About bridging the gap to other pl clubs maybe your right but only time will tell depends on how the window goes.

Using Spence as an example is stupid. Conte didn’t want him so refused to play him. Can’t judge him when he only played in 6 games for spurs. There’s so much incredible talent you can buy from the championship but why do brain dead spurs fans snub them. Just look at Bowen, Watkins, joao Pedro.

This is all a terrible mistake. Postanoclue contrary to the drivel spent massively at Celtic and didn't bring anyone through. He is already looking like he will ignore our own club youth and will seek to spend on experience and these kids coming in will be big expensive bench warmers. Not good for them....
