ETH had major fault, he setup them poorly, but these players just have no desire. Never seen Havertz, Saka, Martinelli stop chasing the ball. Salah at 32 does more than Rashford. Neither Rashford nor Garnacho tracked back after losing the ball to Van de Ven. Dalot just stopped tracking Johnson for the goal, and it was just the 3rd min. Let's bring in Nagelsmann or Tuchel, I still doubt whether we will be title challengers within 2 seasons, because of this very reason and our reactionary fanbase won't be patient with the new manager.
The only thing that worries me as a spurs fan is the injuries... if there's any more injuries then we can easily become vulnerable. We do have young players but they lack experience in the top flight. So yeah... if we go without injuries then we might have a good chance to be at least top 4
I think Tottenham played poorly around the box they should have won by 6-2. Man Utd were never gonna win against a team that schooled them but spared an instant sacking by Tottenham wasting so many chances!(spared? Not sure that’s right… maybe inflicted Ten Hag on them for a few weeks longer)
That is pretty much Spurs in every game so far. They create so many opportunities but rarely finish them. I think they have one of the weakest attacks out of any of teams chasing Europe in terms of options (and that's including teams like Brighton/West Ham), Maybe only Newcastle with just Gordon and Issak are of a similar level but I think both of those players on their day are better than Solanke and Johnson. Solanke's pressing is changing how well Spurs play though as it means teams can now be penned in their own half more. Spurs had way less possession against Brentford but the pressing is so good now it creates a lot of chances. All summer Spurs fans said they needed a proven winger/wide forward and only got Odebert who looked promising before his injury but is now out for a few months. In reserve they only have Werner and Mickey Moore (who looks great but only turned 17 last month). I do see changes in the Spurs team though and can see more of what I assume the plan is from Postecogleu. The pressing is way better than last year and means Spurs don't need to dominate possession as they can win it back and create chances instead of patiently waiting and passing to open teams up. Ange was getting a lot criticism from some fans and calls for his head recently. Hes said multiple times that in the second season at teams it usually clicks for the teams, but I think it will take until his third season for this to happen at Spurs. If they give him this year and all of next season too I honestly think he could do something special with this team if they back him with 2-3 players for the first team and 2-3 more to improve the overall depth. ETH MUST BENCH RASHFORD
You guys need to get to Bluesky
ETH is fucked now
The only thing that worries me as a spurs fan is the injuries... if there's any more injuries then we can easily become vulnerable. We do have young players but they lack experience in the top flight. So yeah... if we go without injuries then we might have a good chance to be at least top 4
How can you be taken serious, when you reference Bissouma in the game?
Beside that... I actually like your content. Have a great day :)
Apologies for the long comment
Ten Hag ain’t it. Next!
