Love the jewelry analogy Pep. Only a handful of scents I've smelled over the years that have that beautiful juxtaposition of transparency and depth. Incidentally, I find that a great deal of jewellers are now getting into the fragrance game with their own lines.

@@Gonzalo_K - Personally, Private Label crushes Incident Diplomatique. It's just missing the definitive, uncompromising, quality of PL. I have a full bottle of PL and a 10ml decant of ID... don't wear ID very often. PL is indispensable.
Some vetivers can scream off my skin, especially when they're of the rough variety . Don't think I've sampled this one Pep. I have Psychedelique from them. Will sample
This scent is best suited for a very serious Executive in a dark suit and wingtip shoes. This is not a tshirt and jeans and sneakers scent. It is a scent suited for a non playful very august mature seasoned man who reads the New York Times and buisness journals.
