I like this one more than private label. It is more balanced and attractive for me . I did this my office signature scent and I am happy for its performance. On clothes it stays all day. I can feel it during the day.

this fragrance is actually made to resemble cigarette smoking smell. Incident diplomatic comes from an idea where 'diplomats smoking n discussing things'. i really like it and i dont like private label, to me it's not quite ell blended but this one is on point as far the concept goes.
The performance could be because of maceration and or under spraying. It generally wears light so I tend to spray 7-8 sprays. This last me 8-10 hours with a small sent bubble.

I have incident diplomatique and I really enjoy it I also must say I get lots of compliments on it which I found surprising . I think it comes off better in the air than it does on skin. Now I just purchased private label and I’m waiting for the season to change to start wearing it.

I came here for the review of Incident Diplomatique - changed my mind because of the performance (esp because you rarely talk about it but here you did), and got Private Label instead (your teaser was very compelling). A real winner - I absolutely love it. All that’s missing now is your review of the fragrance. All the best!!
What a coincidence. This is my SoTD . This is my favorite Jovoy out of five which I own. A beautiful review again brother. For me this stays for a solid 7 hrs and enjoyable throughout its course.

I get a better perspective of fragrance here, as compared to other reviewers who will just praise every frag to remain relevant with every faction of fragrance community. Any chance you’ve gotten a bad sample, AC? This fragrance lasts 8-10 hours on my skin and has a solid projection for the first 2-3 hours. P.S.: Love your reviews!
Interesting. I have samples of Incident diplomatique and I find it boozy. It is one of my favorites alongside with Pavillon rouge, psychedélique, private label, remember me, and rose millésime. I personally own: Private label, les jeux sont faits and remember me.
The vetiver in Incident Diplomatique is very apparent on my skin on the dry down and it stayed projecting for a couple of hours on me whilst still catching whiff of it throughout the day. Lucky me i guess. But I agree it does not hold a candle to Private Label.. Incident Diplomatique to me is a good entry point to Jovoy’s fragrances as its easy to accept/wear for beginners; similar to 21 Conduit St and L’Art De La Guerre.
So far this house has been a winner for me. I really like Private Label. This one is nice too. Did you pick up something waxy in Incident Diplomatique? I don't know if there is an iris or labdanum note in there.

I would highly recommend 1899 by HdP, or LJSF by Jovoy which I have reviewed , just check out my Jovoy play list. Aramis Tobacco Reserve and Chergui are also very good and I have reviewed both.
Diors are a great house for beginners and also Parfums de Marley. I have done a video on great niche fragrances for beginners so you might get some solid ideas there.

Wearing private label right now...was too dark for me, but now im warming up to it. really gorgeous and and pleasant wearing

Great one Ac. About that dry throat. Inhale steam 10 to 15 min daily. You will see much difference. Also honey, lemon with lukewarm water helps a lot.

ID is, imho, the best Jovoy release and one of the best classy fragrances of all time. But, hey, we all have different taste. Good job tho 👍
