I’d also put wheel barrow tires on the front as “drag slicks”
@LaneProductions327 I have pretty much new 15s already for it so I'll run those, when they pop ill get zero turn slicks for it
Try seeing if the steering rods are bent or tie rod, and grease up steering gears, it helped with my stiff stearing on my grey mower. Awesome mower!
It's just the bushings on the big steering gear, everything else is good. I've already lowered the front and started the back 😉
Also because the steering on those craftsman are Gen 2 you can take the middle bolt out holding the gear thing and put a water on the bolt and put the bolt back on it really tightens the steering
It's got almost no play in it. It's just stiff because it sat for a long time in the rain
And you can lower the transaxle by flipping the bracket 180 degrees
I'm just going to cut and raise them, I'm running a jackshaft so I can run 2 different size pulleys for really high speed
