Is there a way to change the color of the class, iv'e been trying to figure it out because it does not match my photo for the class. i'm all about art and I would like it to match but if you don't know that's completely fine.
Susan Villarroel you can change it in the theme (bottom right corner of the banner) but when you change the banner pic, it changes the color theme. I don’t know how to override that or if it’s possible.

Genoveva Koppenol thank you so much! I make a different classroom for each of my 5 periods (3 preps). So much easier to grade that way! Plus, if one of my classes get off track with the other one for whatever reason (like I don’t see one class because of an assembly), it is much easier to manage.
@@EZEdTech I never used google classroom. I got some training with the school system, but I got confused, there is so much to learn, and got very stressed. However listening and viewing your videos are giving me confidence. Your videos are good, because you are a great teacher. Yes, creating one classroom for each group makes sense. Do you have a tutorial on how to use a bitmoji classroom and link it to google classroom so primary students can click on the assignment in the bitmoji classroom but still turn it in (is this even possible?). I'm trying to make my little ones more independent and created a pretty comprehensive bitmoji classroom but now I'm not sure how to let them use it efficiently! Ty

Mike Herring it’s because that’s the profile pic I set up for that google account. Whatever profile pic you have will show up automatically there. If you don’t have a pic, then your initial will show up.

I have question - Regarding the 'Teacher Materials' and your reference in the 'Coding Slide' with google forms in it.. You said that you'd post those assignments in the Teacher Materials section. You also said that you would train your students to only really look in 'This Week's Work'. Does that mean that they would still 'see' the google form assignments in the Teacher Materials section? Or, is there a way to hide the 'Teacher Materials' things from the students?
Patrick Hait there’s no way to hide the topics, so if they scroll down to teacher materials, they’ll still see the forms assignment there. I put that topic at the bottom of the list so it doesn’t show up on their screen unless they scroll down to it. Not perfect but it works.

Hi, I am doing a quiz for my students using google forms. So I did my quiz using branching, but something went wrong. I made two sections, one for right answers one for wrong answers. Now in my question sections i referred each answer to either the right/wrong section. When I previewed the quiz after putting in several sections with questions, it won't move on. Do I have to make a right and wrong answer section for each question?

I also liked your board game video, but I'm wondering, where does all that student work get organized (the form, the doc) if the file is sent to students as a view only file for the board game?
I explained it in the board game video so it might help to rewatch that. You can create a google classroom assignment and link the google classroom assignment to the board game (I show that in the board game video with the google doc). I hope this helps!

However, i fear that if i archive my classes i Will lose my assignments? Do the tasks from the students disparate from my Google drive?

it may be because it is a different domain. If you set the classroom up with your school email address and the person trying to join doesn't have an email address from your school, they might get this error message (depending on how your tech people at your school set up GC).

Nope not yet. I really wish we could! The best you can do is reuse the same assignment to schedule for another class.

Mike Herring set up more personal gmail accounts and add them as students. That’s how I set up my classes for the tutorials.
