This is probably one of the best visualizations of how I think of angels: larger than life and terrifyingly beautiful.
Sharon had a pure angel's voice.
And the orchestra were outstanding.
It's so nice to be able to listen to symphonic metal without all of these singer comparisons (*cough nightwish). Sharon's voice is amazing and WT is the first symphonic metal band I ever listened to!
How is possiblr that WT is the only SMB you have ever listened but you know of discussions about singers in NW?

I have been singing to Within Temptation songs for years and I think my voice is at the point were I am happy with it now. I would die just to sing with Sharon. I highly doubt it will ever happen thought. :(

Al que dice "No canta como en el disco", claro que no, canta mejor... es agradable oir una voz real en vivo =).
-.- nadie canta igual que el disco... (salvo justin bieber, el canta hasta vomitando) pero canta casi igual que el la version de estudio..
Es de las pocas que canta mejor en vivo.
Es que también la acústica en esos lugares es horrible pero por lo menos es un micrófono normal sin arreglos

Amazing! I’m Dutch an d I only knew witin temptation from Ice Queen and Mother Earth. She is one of the biggest export product with Epica, and The gathering and floor offcourse and I only knew 2 songs. Shame, so now I try to listen much more music of Sharon and the’ve made many great songs and colabs. Angels, love it ❤ Thank u Within Temptation. Yes, i’n late bur it’s never to late

I don't even like curly hairdo but still Sharon den Ad/(ng)el sounds like an angel and is still so beautiful with perfect smile with gorgeous teeth. What a woman and so musical.

as for what you call "fake-music" (no hyphen is needed here actually), you know, Mylene Farmer's songs have better guitar arrangements than most of "symphonic metal" =)
Don't take offence, I like metal music in general. I just don't understand how metal can include things as great as Opeth or Dream Theater and as simplistic as WT.

I love her voice don't get me wrong...but let's not forget that Amy Lee exists. If you listen her songs Wake Me Up and Sweet Sacrific you can really hear the raw power in her voice. Still love Within Temptation though stunning vocals ❤️

+Nicole Bonnett she's singing too high without a good tecnique. Like you should take your larynx down while sings, hers is like... above her eyes. 😂 and you can hear it because she doesn't have even some power in her head voice...
OK,I don't really know much about singing techniques,but I guessed it ad something to do with high pitch.
+Nicole Bonnett not just that, you need to know how to sing even low potch, but yes, highest is the pitch, highest the larynx go if you don't control it like you should.
