  • Mistakes, figuring it out, still need to mix and figure out best settings; but this is an example of what the app does when playing to covers. Automatically uses AI to determine BPM, adds or takes away a click, can speed up or slow down the tune, loop parts, and upload directly from phone/device/tablet! wow!!! I am super stoked!!
    Happy drumming!

      Thanks, bro! That's just the Yamaha EAD10 by itself, using the app it comes with! Just 2 stereo condenser mics at the center of the kit, the song gets uploaded into the Yamaha, and it automatically analyzes any song and tells you what BPM it's at! Then, it auto mixes the song with your drums (which you can control the levels to), and uploads it straight to YT/FB/Dropbox/Google drive/etc.; FROM your phone/device! No computer needed, no interface, no matching video cuts with seperate audio, and it's all controlled through a simple app on your phone! Your phone/camera/tablet is used to film you, and the EAD does all the rest and *becomes* your phone's audio input! 😳🤯 So, the studio quality audio is baked right into the video from the getgo! I did this video start to finish including upload time in about 5 minutes! It's crazy! Thing is a BEAST! Great for a super potable mic for gigs too! Thanks, little bro!

      Thanks, bro! I just posted one of just drums describing some other features too, but wanted to show how this one app plays the tune, maps it through AI, gives you a count in, allows you to mix the drums and song levels before uploading, and automatically will put it straight onto YT/FB/Dropbox/Google drive/email/etc.; ALL from the phone, with no DAW or editing/matching video to audio needed at all. It's a beast!!!

      @@blakenunndrums a good friend and fellow drummer told me that it would be nice to invest on a behringer umc1820 and a akg mic set... what is your opinion about that?

    • @blakenunndrums
      @blakenunndrums  3 года назад +1

      @@Elbateristarupestre Depends on what your goals are. The British T Bone set is ranked as one of the best cheapest all in one kits. Earthworks and Rode are good too. I actually use a Behringer interface for all my mics, as all you need is a good sound source (a well tuned kit) and mics to pick up that sound source. The interface (as long as it's current, it will have the highest sample rate anyway, and comes with "Tracktion" which is like garage band, but way more powerful). All you're doing is capturing the raw WAV/Mp3 files through the interface into your DAW, just getting the WAV files. All the post editing and everything can be done on another machine that has pro tools or Logic or whatever. So, the quality of the interface isn't touch of a concern. The level of inputs, phantom power for mics that require it, good mics, and good sounding drums are more crucial. If you plan to just play to covers solely, the EAD is hard to beat, by a mile! It's specifically designed with that and the app it comes with to do exactly that. This video I put up, I did in FIVE MINUTES, start to finish including upload time! 😳 If you want something that's all in one, you can gig with, practice with, play to covers, make your 1 kit sound like 200 others, if you want hybrid kit capability (the EAD can take *eight* additional triggers, so you can make any drum on your kit sound like anything you want!), if you want to play live with it out a PA/amp, etc.; the EAD is the bees knees! No DAW needed (eventhough it can easily be used with one. I use it in my 14 mic array with "pro" recordings all the time, so I have 2 stereo pairs. One pair at center mass of kit, and one pair as overheads), quality is superb, it costs about 100$ less or the same as just the mic kits do, you have to keep the interface and mounted individual mics in the studio 95% of the time with the systems you're talking about, and the EAD has a bazillion other features. When I researched, it's either a 5k$ pro system with AKGs/Shures/Audix/Rode/etc with a giant interface and dedicated computer, a kit like the one you're talking about but is still limited in its capabilities and has to stay parked for the most part but costs significantly less, or the EAD which is the quick and dirty way that is highly functional and portable, and even cheaper than most those kits. Best value for money, EAD wins. It's also a great entry level system, that offers pro features. Once you factor in XLR cables, the DAW, the laptop, the interface, the mics, etc; it's quite cumbersome. I own all the above, and the one I use most is the EAD, 100% Eventhough I have top of the line Shures and Audix and Rodes; the EAD is still the most used and the heart of my whole operation! It gives even clearer and truer sound than mics that cost as much as the entire EAD just for 1 mic! Like, I have Shure KSM141S (800$ a pair), and the EAD sounds better than they do, and no interface needed at all. Plus, you can record into a USB stick plugged into the back of the brain, or take any song on YT and play to it as a cover through YTMP3.CC site! 😉

      @@Elbateristarupestre Imagine your ZOOM field recorder on steroids, specifically meant to plug into any android/pc/iPhone/iOS, just for drums, and has 4 seperate features for practicing, jamming, covers, and live gigs. Plus, it's plug and play, and comes with a badass app that does it all for you! "RecNShare". And the just released the android version last year. So, it's cutting edge and newest technology. Plus, it's made my Yamaha, so you know it'll be sturdy and work as intended.

      @@Elbateristarupestre But, as far as mixing capabilities and being able to get a fatter mix and all instruments blended the way you like; isolated mics on each piece can't be beat. But, you can literally take the EAD anywhere, and it rivals a full mic array any day of the week, and sets up in seconds instead of hours.
