    Appreciate your Analysis! INTEL stock Down -60% in 2024 alone was a bit overreaction
    Owning INTC near or below $20/share might reward the new investors handsomely in 2025-26

    I own 200 shares and purchased recently. Waiting for their next CEO and leadership team which I believe is the key to whether it turns around. If they get the "right" leadership team the stock could go up a lot. If was Intel I would pick the "right" CEO and do it as soon as they believe they have their person.

    I think I’ll continue to DCA Intel. It has good p/b and p/s metrics. Expect the stock to be subdued for a while though

    Thanks for the important update. You are the best. Please keep updating on Intel. It is so important to cover stocks that suffer from headwinds. I have 650 shares of Intel bought at an average price of 20.28$. I don't mind the risk. All the big tech stocks invest a ton in chips, and so must Intel if it wants to stay a relevant tech giant. The US government should support Intel during this challenging time, and Intel has new products it can sell. I hope that their revenue will rise by the end of 2025. You mentioned that 2026 may be a breakout year for Intel. Need patience and to see who will be the next CEO. It was a huge mistake to fire Gelsinger.

    What happened to their dividend? As a holder very disappointed with this stock. Your analysis has me thinking there's better opportunities out there. If there was a dividend I'd consider sticking it out.

    Intel decided in the past to built in Arizona two fabs. But actually i don't find news about this. I read about only a project of TSMC fab.
    Has Intel sell this fabs? I am sure, that the new goverment will support companies, who create jobs in the USA. About Intel, in german news was reported about a cancel to build a fab in Magdeburg, Germany. I will invest in intel.

    I think Intel failed to utilize the overwhelming market dominance they had from 2005-2020~ They didn't advance their technology sufficiently compared to their R&D budget and their competitors, and their chips have suffered from low generational performance increases since 2015. And by doing so they hurt their brand as the "deluxe chip" company. And while they still hold 70% of CPU market, this market-share is rapidly declining in favour of the "discount chip" maker AMD and ARM based chips, with the last 3 generations of Intel CPU's having failed very badly. Intel needs to win back consumer trust and retain or regain their brand status, but I don't see that happening anytime soon without some big wins on the chip market.
    Also Intel have the largest investment in Israel of all the big tech companies and I fear that might potentially backfire with increasing geopolitical tensions and a potential embargo or boycotts on Israel. Further more there are rumours that Nvidia will enter the consumer CPU market soon, which could potentially hurt Intel, while they are down, even more.
    Investing in Intel now seems extremely risky. I don't see them turning the ship around until 6-8 years down the line at the earliest, if at all. With their company-strategic turmoil and their current subpar products in mind. I would hold, potentially buy a further dip in a couple of years with a 10-15 year horizon. All with big risks but also big potential upside, because they have some brilliant engineers and the leverage from all those years as market leaders to put into R&D.
    Just my humble analysis.

    I agree with most of your picks but I disagree with the Intel pick. That company is in turmoil with no consistent strategy or management continuity. The chance of a complete financial restructuring sometime in the future is not a small risk in my opinion.

    Last I checked, Intel's R&D spend was greater than AMD, Nvidia and TSMC combined. Intel was the king of semiconductors for decades and has some of the brightest minds on the planet. I cannot imagine that money was poorly spent. Question is when it will bear fruit

      They have Xeon 6, Lunar Lake, and Arc B580. 18 A is expected to be ready for production in early 2025. So they are catching up but it takes time because Intel was very far behind. Intel is only for long-term investors who are willing to be patients until 2026. Not for someone who can't take the risk.

    • @DarraghMcCarthy
      @DarraghMcCarthy 23 часа назад

      I think it's low risk at current prices. Worst case scenario, the US government bails it out. More likely scenario is it steadily regains financial stability and trends positive, reducing the perception of risk, which releases downward pressure on the price.
