    Project "Ludicrous" under model # DCF961 which we can confirm hasn't been confirmed by any of our sources is something you certainly wont see us reporting about (is this how it's done, cable news??). Perhaps the most welcome innovation on this new 15Ah Flexvolt is those battery indicator lights stay on for a few second after pressing the button! We'll be buying the new powerstack when it's for sale, the same time you guys will be able to buy one.

    That power stack battery looks like lipo battery cells stacked up and lipo batteries can output some serious current is most cases the most common cell is a 20c so a 5000mah could output 100amps. While being lighter down side is they require special balance charging and don’t like to be filling discharged. If they make them stable with out getting puffy they would make a killer battery source

    The DCF891 is live on the DeWalt USA site, it’s saying 800 ft lbs of max breakaway torque and 600 ft lbs of max fastening torque. It says it’s “coming soon”.

    Will you guys tested the Street Legal Thunder Gun? And if you do how likely do you think you could get your hands on a genuine Thunder Gun?

    Torque test channel, do you include the new weight and overall length (with this huge battery) when you re-score, seems important to do so.
    I wonder when the 40v Ryobi batteries frommy hedge trimmer will be used on an impact driver😉

    Please test 1"cordless vs impact driver with a torque multiplier

    I literally just bought the Ridgid mid and high torque on a $299 deal. I largely decided on those from this channel. I bought an adapter to run them with my dewalt batteries. Soo, dewalt has a new bad mf coming out when I finally break down and get two cordless impacts? I sarcastically joked about this very thing happening just the other day...didn't expect it to be real lol

    Just curious. Have you ever tested rebuilt battery packs? Seems to be a number of places that advertise this service. After watching your DeWalt knockoff battery test I wondered about this.

    Sorry havent looked through your channel. Have you you done something with the 60v grinder yet? I feel like people dont realize thats for 60v power tools but also works for 20v tools just a much larger battery at that point.

    I'm more excited about the DeWalt 20v ratchet, has anybody heard anything other than the one set of pictures that leaked ages ago? I'm pretty content with the DeWalt 1/2" impact that they've had out for years, I've only had one project that it couldn't overcome -- a set of 20 year old leaf springs that I had to cut off.

    I have been expecting the same size or bigger from the red team in the M18 lineup. We have the M18 chainsaw with the 12ah battery and it is obvious that there is a plan for a much larger battery as there is plenty of space in the battery well for more battery even with the big boy battery on board. Another science video idea since your collecting these big batteries is how long does it take to charge them??? Or maybe yet, how many beers can you drink while waiting to get your battery pack charged?

    • @thehhoff69
      @thehhoff69 2 года назад

      DeWalt has a 12A charger that could charge this behemoth in around 75 minutes, or around a 6 pack of beers drank, at a moderate pace. Now using their smallest 1.25A charger it would take around 12 hours, or a solid quarter barrel of beer drank.

    I still love the continual use of "in freedom units" phrase. Metric is used more widely across the globe (only USA, Liberia and Myanmar (not exactly a free country!) have retained imperial), not because it was forced upon nations but because it makes far more sense. We use both imperial and metric here in the UK and are "free" to use either although metric is generally preferred even though we invented the imperial measurement system! From a professional standpoint, as a nuclear engineer, metric is also preferred. Have a think what point you are trying to make from the "freedom units" phrase.
