That was a tremendous insight and very truthful. I keep getting pestered by my friends to switch to Daiwa. Trouble is I have Browning Z8.3 and numerous top kits. I don’t in honesty fish that long so like you and Kristian I would probably look at G90. So the million dollar question that you or maybe one of those following this is there a difference between my current pole and a G90. I won’t buy any more kits for my current pole as it’s always in the back of my mind that I may revert back to Daiwa. Your explanation on the kits was great as unless it’s shown what options you have you won’t know.

I’ve used up to a 16 with no problems mate. Never had one break, but I tend to use the proper power kits for really heavy elastic. Glad you enjoyed it. 😊

Have you tried the new generic f1 kit daiwa so it’s even cheaper than the Preston £50 I think would be interested to see how it compares

Why do Daiwa call them top 3 kits, and the end piece a #2 section, when the whole industry calls them top 2's?
