I went to Wickersley to buy a Preston superium XS70 and walked out with a G90. For me the G90 just felt better balanced at 14.5m. Very rarely fish at 16m so didn't feel spending extra money on a more expensive pole
The g20 was the worst pole I’ve ever owned 👌😂 I can’t see the g90 being much better. Daiwa never bettered a pole they made 25 years ago that’s why wickersley still sell it and so do Leigh tackle and people still want it.Every other manufacturer has moved forward pole wise except daiwa.
The g90 turns into a heavy banana after 13m

i use g90 love great pole from 200 pound on commercial to silvers in winter love it wouldnt use anything but diawa

Daiwa now state 15.5 metres total length on the 16?metre section. Thoughts?
When you remove the tournaments no.1 how does it compare in length to the g90 at 16m??
