Nice setup and testing Sir. I fly jeti as well and can appreciate the data your system provides. In a similar setup, I’m using a mezon 160 lite esc and muli 6 sensor, limited to 8S. Another jet on 12S uses hobbywing 105a esc, 150a mui sensor in combination with a muli6 to provide lipo data from both packs. I look forward to seeing inflight video!!
Great stuff guys! Awesome set up. A few things to watch, motors on the bench get hot fast without a thrust tube. Watch that! Second, static thrust numbers from Shubler are pretty accurate but they will change under load in the plane depending on FSA of the thrust tube and intake. As long as your model weight stays under 14lbs with batteries that fan with a little math done right on those things I mentioned should fly the snot of it. Super excited for you!
Nice tests! Did you run any tests to monitorize the temperature of the electric motor, for example, to know how much time is it capable of performing at maximum power without reaching the limit temperature? I think this could be quite interesting to know, and also for the maximum time allowed for lower power levels
Very nice low amp high power setup! Just keep in mind every lipo checker is going to show a slightly different percentage. What you're really looking for is battery voltage.
This is a clockwise EDF. Typically counterclockwise will only be with two and one being clockwise 🔁 and the other is counter 🔄 thank you for watching and have a good night. We will be testing another one in the coming months
Got a weird question. Can a edf be run without the use of a receiver? It won't be installed in an rc aircraft so I don't need to control the speed of the edf.
exciting! But I'm sorry to say it! How much is the static trust. After all, it is the one to be used for the specific aircraft, that weighs? You need to measure the trust, lbs trust with a weight. And then put the trust up against the plane weight. And then assess whether the plane can come from the grund. Enjoy. I'm excited to see which planes that engine set is going to be in.
@@hamiltonshangar I don’t doubt you will.....check out this engine stand from banana hobby. It has a thrust indicator included. www.bananahobby.com/jp-hobby-edf-turbine-engine-testing-stand.html
Can you please make pressure test? Like put this motor in 1m long pvc pipe, add pressure sensor in pipe and at full throttle start closing the pipes open end with hand to see how much pressure it can make? Need this info for a project
That’s right, even people with 120amp have had a full failure on those ESC on the same Exact setup. I know it’s overkill, but I like to be safe! Thanks for watching 😁
That L-39 rocketship is going to Glorify the Heavens, for sure. Can't wait to see it!
Yes indeed!! Thank you!
WOW! That is a sweet setup Che. Can't wait to see it in action on the L-39.
Thanks man!! Super stoked!
Love the Data share dude! Thank you! Very cool set up.
Thank you!!
Nice mock up before wiring up the L-39, only thing missing is the Gooniac Firey bootie, epic zooms coming for sure Che, Jeff in LA USA
Thank you Jeff!!
Top quality all the way.
just found your video -- building black horse l39 as well -- looking for edf for it now -- subbed
Described everything but the motor that is used that’s all I need to know is what motor is in that duct unit so I can buy separately
HET 700-68-1125
Very cool set up

It’s gonna move!! The specs on that fan are phenomenal!! 👍🏼👍🏼🙌🏼
Thanks brother💯
Wicked cool my friend. Nice testing.
Thanks man! Super stoked!
Great EDF Che’. Love you test area 👍🏻
Thanks! Cheers Chris! 👍

Hey thanks for the advice David!!
@@hamiltonshangar want you to be successful my friend! Im here to help and taking notes to!
Now that’s a nice setup, can’t wait for the flight with it... 💪🏾💯
You and me both!

I think this could be quite interesting to know, and also for the maximum time allowed for lower power levels
I did not! But I will keep this in mind for future tests! The temperature will be different in the airplane!

Thanks for the tips!!
Awesome Che
Thank you! Cheers!
Ouuu that should be awesome!!!
Yes indeed man!!
Saucy edf setup u got thare
Thanks bro! Cheers!
Nice set up! Can you put up links to the items used? Again great job
Bro. You are doing things right I'm impressed with your set up. Very nice test run. That L 39 is gonna rock 👍👍😎✌👊
Thanks I hope so!! 👍
Wow!!! That is really low amps!! What kind of thrust is this supposed to put out??
12.36lbs approximately sir
Very nice stuff, good job,
Thank you! Cheers!
Great demonstration and setup buddy, should be very efficient and fly amazing, 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
Thanks Jeff!!!!
Sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Eric!! 😁
Is that a counterclockwise EDF ?
This is a clockwise EDF. Typically counterclockwise will only be with two and one being clockwise 🔁 and the other is counter 🔄 thank you for watching and have a good night. We will be testing another one in the coming months
Nice Flying setup, lacking on a test bed #'s of thrust?
She gives about 12.5 lbs of thrust
Do you still recommend this edf now? I believe this was in the l39 you munched?
This is a great EDF for the Raptor!! It would be great in a lighter L-39 than I built!
So are you saying you wouldn't put this one back into this plane I'm thinking of purchasing one and was thinking of using your set up???
Hello, could this device be running at maximum speed for hours? , It's for an experiment
It will not run that long with this battery setup. I wish lol 😆
@@hamiltonshangar Ok if i have a long term battery set up ? 3 or 5 hours ?
Got a weird question. Can a edf be run without the use of a receiver? It won't be installed in an rc aircraft so I don't need to control the speed of the edf.
Yes because it needs a speed controller to even power on, and that is done through the receiver.
I was looking for an upgrade for the Futura v3. (More speed) Any suggestiond
I think she’s super fast but the X-fly 2200kv would be an upgrade!
You’re ready to fly that table lol
lol!! Thank you for watching!!
@@hamiltonshangar Did you ever look at the Sebart avanti models? They don’t cost too much and the are composite.
@@MrKenwillis yes sir I’ve thought about getting one l, and I still might! Thank you for saying something :)
@@hamiltonshangar yeah no problem, I purchased one and I gotta tell you it flies better than any jet I have and I have a lot of jets.
Can you at least give a link on where to buy the edf?

I’m surprised he didn’t measure the actual thrust.
@@memcrew1 I agree. I don't think it has enough trust, but I hope the best for him, there's a lot of money to spend without knowing for sure 😲
I will have plenty of thrust to get off the ground!! Stay tuned :)

I would like to see this in my 90mm F-18 Blue.
I was going to get that Schubeler but figured out I could order a Hacker 100mm but the diameter fit a 90mm Jetfan. These are the specs on the motor.
1070kv, 125amp, 7kg thrust (15lbs.), I understand I may not get all that but it should still be a Rocket! Hope to maiden mine very soon!
It will definitely be a rocket either way man thats awesome!
Cool bro!! 🤙🤙🤙🤙

Sorry bro, she is locked Down tight in my L-39 now!! Thank you for checking it out!
The Shcubeler coo but as for best i seen hands down will have to go to the JP Hobby 90mm 1400kv 8S 12 Blade Metal EDF.
👍👍👍
Thank you!
Thrust Numbers?
Yes I have been, Thank you for watching
☃️ Hello 👋.
No that's the queen version, the HST 90mm is the KING version!
with no mention of the type and kv of the motor? the most important part of your set up?? you missed that one Bro
It’s okay no one is perfect. Thank you for watching!
f me thats amazing
Thank you! Best sounding unit that I own currently in terms of brand.
yes what great power
You have a 160amp esc and you didn’t even pass 90amps.

I personally am very disappointed in the sound!
Can you tell me your reasoning behind that conclusion? Thank you for watching
