I ripped the vocals from the movie and removed the clapping/audience noises and add in the clean instrumental for better listening 👍. Somewhere online or in japan you can probably buy the japanese ost of that movie but for now I created a pretty good replacement for you although this is a short version.

@@Solidude he was supposed to be in LAD but he was busy, so yes since RGG is also growing rapidly the budget's probably gonna go up too and we'll see more of Akiyama on other games.
@@dimactavicus I noticed too that Yakuza is now getting popular. I remember people back then saying Yakuza was not a triple a game (or was it the studio who wasn't). Now it looks like it's getting up there with all the tech and popularity it has today 👌
@@Solidude definitely. Yakuza 7 was explicitly marketed for an international audience with ichiban’s more relatable personality and the more diverse cast, and it seemed to have worked. That alongside the memes have propelled yakuza to its well deserved fame.

I love Koichi Yamadera's voice, but I have no context for this, literally what on earth is going on.
That's his character he voiced in the video game series Yakuza. I just mashed up cutscenes in the game and make them dark a bit to kind of fit the song.

Koichi Yamadera singing My Way doesn't appear in Yakuza but did appear in Sing, as he dubbed the rat guy in the Japanese Dub of the movie.
It is so much funnier when you realise what this song is actually from. He's the silly Seth MacFarlane mouse from Sing in the Japanese version of the film.
I could see “The Singing Man in the Sewers” being a sub story in a Yakuza game lol. You have to go to Children’s Park at night to hear someone singing “My Way” then you have to go down there and investigate.
Yeah and the gameplay would be :
1. Give the man a cough drops or medicine.
2. Find thugs then fight and take their clothes to give it to the sewer man.
3. Bring him to a karaoke place.

It's a shame that he may not appear in Yakuza series anymore. I actually would like to see him at least in non-voiced substory. Or if in Yakuza 8 Ichiban will eventually get a business just like in 7, Akiyama could help him with money or become his rival at the end.

it's sad we never got to see Akiyama in Yakuza 7. In Ryu ga Gotoku online it was revealed that Ichiban and Akiyama are friends, and if i heard right, he was even gonna be a playable character in 7

I believe every recorded song nowadays have some kind of auto tune to repair parts of the song to save time from re recording. But for someone like Yamadera who can do a lot of voices, this was probably nothing or they recorded many takes then edited them into one.

I forgot about this but this was from a movie Sing (2016) and he was singing about being a rat. Try looking up the original english version but I forgot by now if Seth Macfarlane's version is about being a rat but try looking it up for now.
