Fix and repair your broken Skullcandy Hesh 3 headphones permanently!

- In this video I show how to permanently fix the broken Skullcandy Hesh 3 headphones' yoke, by using a 3D printed earshell model design, printed in PLA material.

If you don't have a 3D printer you can search google maps for a 3D printing service in your area or order it using an online 3D printing service.
If you are unable to return them, I believe it's worth repairing them, as they have very good sound and battery life. I previously tried repairing them with glue but it didn't work.
I used 3/8” long (~1 cm) and 1/8” width (~2mm) screws.
You are an absolute genius Casper. My Hesh 3 were broken the 1st month I bought it.. it's been in the box for an year.. and now I got hope in my life.. thanks a lot for the design too...

@@Rise_of_Retro I am from Argentina, so the cost is very different here cause the economy. I paid for everything $500 (pesos Argentinos) = $5 dolars. :)

@@adityarajkharde8516 Mine broke already. Its holding in its place with super glue and duct tapes. Why didn't they use metal. We would all be happy if that was the case. Build quality of this headphone sucks. I won't recommend it to anyone. Sound quality is still good though.

I bought this F*** headset and it was a pain in the ass they broked 2 months later and by now they are useless until now. Thank you so much. I will repair it.
Worthless? Be more careful with your stuff. Also skullcandy has a awesome 2 year warrenty. That I have used in the past. Send em back and get a new pair.
@@floppinfish They brake even being careful. Unfortunately the new pair would be defective too. It is a manufacturing design defect.
@@floppinfish Hesh 3 was my daily driver for over a year, and both pairs died no matter how I treated them. One was bought, the other was the warranty replacement. I don't care how you treat these, they break. The plastic is terrible and the customer has to fix it. Worthless is an understatement for the durability of these headphones. If you manage to use these as daily headphones for over 6 months and they don't break, God was holding that plastic together.

so i fixed the headphones by using super glue but the glue ran down to my volume button now I cant turn it up please help!!!

Hi! I sent it to print, didn't print it myself. But printed it is 8.5cm width
I am very hard on my headphones I used to use them into different factories and my three-year-old daughter plays with them and they have not broken yet just the battery has went bad so I'm not able to use it in for Bluetooth no more
How heavy is this print? Individual weights in grams pls.
I haven't weighed them, but they are really light. They must be around 10grs each
@@casper26 thanks. I don't own a 3d printer myself and the one at my local library cost 15c per gram of final weight, so I'm glad they're very light.

could you not strenghen any weak bits in build with carefully applied epoxy before they break ?

Hi. I don't remember. You can use anyone that fits. They come out easily. You should buy a set with different sizes

What size head screwdriver did you use?
Sorry, I have a Chinese set of screwdrivers that don't say it's size. I used the smallest one to disassemble and a bigger one for the new screws which are bigger than the original ones
casper26 what do u suggest we use if we don’t have that size screwdriver
@@shridharsingh5665 you will need a very small screwdriver to remove the original screws. I recommend you buy a cheap set of small screwdrivers cellphone repair style). Then you can use a standard screwdriver if you use bigger screws for replacement
