Amazing Electric VAN! - New Generation 2024 TOYOTA PROACE

If variety is the spice of life, Toyota’s van range is about to heat up considerably. That’s because the brand will add a new large van to its line-up from 2024, with a choice of conventional diesel engines or electric power.
Toyota will build the as-yet-unnamed model in conjunction with Stellantis - that’s the Citroën, Peugeot and Vauxhall brands to most of us - and the electric van version will be a rival to the Ford E-Transit and Fiat E-Ducato. The van in electric form will likely be based on the same underpinnings as the Peugeot e-Boxer, Citroen e-Relay and Vauxhall Movano. It will use the same 121bhp electric motor as those vans, with battery sizes of 37kWh and 75kWh, providing a range of up to 160 miles. The combustion-engined variant is expected to borrow its engines from the regular Peugeot Boxer, Citroën Relay and Vauxhall Movano.
The Toyota Proace City Electric - along with its Citroën, Peugeot and Vauxhall siblings - was the overall winner in our Van and Commercial Vehicle Awards 2022 so we can expect the new large van to be a compelling choice for van drivers.

When something like this hits the US market with solid state battery 800 mile range 15 minute fast charge (likely 2027) I will write a check. Think those spec are fake? research it. My hope is that this van can run the AC while parked for 5 nights or more on a full charge.
