I love how the whole "stream sniping" accusation came from rapid pausing for a few seconds to celebrate a pretty rad snipe he nailed after so many missed shots, and it snowballed from there. So much toxicity, born from one moment where they chose to immediately assume the worst of intentions.
Negative mind sets are so easy to fall into, especially when a lot of convo about DBD is centered on how toxic the community can be. Hopefully they see this video and realize their mistake and try better in the future :)

Yeah because dbd has the player base of (if you try harder to win when you are losing, you are a bad person and terrible at the game). It's actually sad to see that streamers act this way too, you'd expect since they are being watched, little audience or not, to act well behaved/respectable. But nope of course not smh
@@kanyumski Well more often than not the audience will feed into it and create a bubble for the streamer, either because they hate the things people do to win or because they want the streamer to like them.

The real slugging part I saw was not slugging, it was one of two events, predicting a DS, or the double down where it was hatchet into melee, both aren't slugging. Playing around DS is safe strats, and the double down is just a good play capitalizing on the survivors bad positioning and movement.
It’s come to the point that all these survivor mains sound exactly the same ignorance wise.

@@StarvingVenom there are some cracked Deathslingers I met, they're brutal. Clean and perfect shots, scary and unpredictable movements. When I meet them I know it's a lost game if not played perfectly haha
I'm learning huntress now, and I completely feel the difficulty of trying to aim those hatchets especially when chasing. When I face another huntress and they get a good throw I just feel pride and the drive to do as well as them one day.

It's an 80/20. Most of the time they accuse people of stream sniping, and other times they are wholesome. I love watching the playback stream to see how the whining ttvs reacted to my gameplay. Always claiming I'm stream sniping if I don't have specific perks... Sees I have the perks they mentioned and they STILL call me a stream sniper 🤣 Can't fix stupid

@@sleezZz_ they forget all the perks 🤣 I procced discordance and hit the streamer through the corn field with hatchet. Killed everyone then the streamer last. Went to their stream and all I hear is SS accusations, with their squad backing them up. It's more funny than annoying now
I legit went to someone's stream when I was their teammate and just said that perhaps if we used a different strategy we could have won. Instantly got banned. They were a self-caring in the corner Claudette throughout the match.

"Can't hit a hatchet without being on top of me". Literally the best strategy to play Huntress; watch any high level Huntress main (which they claim to be??) and they'll show/tell you the same thing: start your hatchet when you're close to reduce your likelihood of missing
it also has less of a cooldown than if you m1 so hatcheting when they are close is the best thing possible lol
I'm pretty new to dbd, really enjoying it so far, but one thing I've picked up on is that the community thinks literally everything in the game is toxic. Like seriously, I think I've seen people complain about probably every single strategy/perk/killer/map/playstyle in the book Lol. I'm just vibing yo, its a great game thats really fun when you stop taking it so seriously
I started out dbd not too long. This game is fun.
I just don't get how some ppl play this game with that mindset.
I play both killer and survivor. As a killer if you get to kill them or not, it's a gg. As a survivor if you survived or not, it's still a gg.
It's just a game. Enjoy the thrill of killing or escaping.
@@davidlee7174 That's what I wish the BHVR would encourage more, looking for the fun in the chase and making escapes thrilling! Hopefully, they will go back to their roots and start making decisions to help dial back the entitlement they are currently fostering.
Am doing a bingo for each killer, every time a survivor calls me a “no skill killer”, when i manage to down them with any killer.
Yeah there is a lot of real toxicity about supposed "toxic" like what perks you are running or whatever. And also if you don't follow the survivor rule book you're trash. And entitlement. It's an extremely actual toxic community sadly.
that's exactly how people should be playing this game because at the end of the day, it's just that. A game. Just play for fun.
As a Huntress main I'd claim you, always takes me a game or two to actually hit my hatchets worth a damn. Doesn't help that playing survivor or other killers does little to warm you up.

Well yes… streamers stream. And they play the way they do. What are you confused about? I tunneled a survivor that was a SWF because they kept clicking their flashlight at me over and over and over again. They were resetting pallets, pallet stunning me, etc etc etc and so I was like… this person gotta go.
Cut to their stream and I was like, sorry, y’all were getting gens done fast and were kicking my ass so I had to proxy and get people out faster. The streamers response was… “yeah, we’ll it’s not fun for the survivor when killers play like that” and I said….
“Well… it’s not fun for the killers when survivors are constantly getting hit with pallets, getting blinded, etc etc… so 🤷♂️”
Ya the entitlement of this community is insane. Especially with survivors. As a killer, if you do bad it’s “ggez baby killer you shouldn’t even play this game you’re so bad” but if you do well it’s “camper tunneler stream sniper cheater hacker op op op and ironically I’m gonna still call you bad even though you 4ked us”. There’s no winning with them, they just want something to scream at.

@@Do_man2000 It's not ONLY about the skill of the streamer, it's also about their personality and HOW they take their wins/losses. One of my favorite streamers is GOOD, but she's not perfect, and when she loses a match she usually is all laughs and smiles and tells the opponents GGs. The only time she gets remotely salty is when it's a game with glitching and PVE, with the computer doing some suspicious BS.

I've been accused of cheating for seeing ppl go into lockers with BBQ. They say things like you shouldn't have known i was in there etc. I try to explain that you have to get in the locker before i hook not near the end or just after the animation because it gives me a chance to see you. They Just say im full of shit etc. I think ignorance is one of the biggest causes of the toxicity in the game. I see it alot with newer players.
They had such a good start yet they're so bitter and angry for literally no reason, I don't get it

Its unfortunate that the streamer fed off of what the friend was saying. The streamer was really chill about it but fed off of his friend. This is why I dont use VC while streaming. I trust my friends but I'd rather not go there just in case.

Idk how streamers can ever think anyone is stream sniping in a fast paced game like dbd where you’re constantly moving around the map, there’s a delay between real-time and the stream itself of like 20 seconds regardless of how good someone’s WiFi is, anyone who thinks people can stream snipe in this game is actually slow in the head
