Hello Niyas, thanks for the effort or the tutorials very helpfull i have a question ? during the ad connect wizard in the rpevious wizard you picked up the the hash so all authentication will be made by the o365. in this wizard video 4 you enabled federation from migration wizard as i saw. 1- does that enabled federation option within migration wizard will change the ad connect way of athentication from hash to federation ? 2- are they two differents things,? thanks in advance for your help
U have enabled federation trust and added text record. Is it possible to continue hybrid set up without enabling federation trust ? Or is it mandatory to enable federation trust?
thank you for the video, i want ask to you, hybrid configuration and data migration in same server? this tutorial not using ADFS server? what's different? thanks you
1:28 Do you have to use the wizard ? My guess is 'yes', because MS wants everything to be simple and convenient across with all sorts of configuration networks available... But as someone who knows their own network from scratch, doing it yourself, you know what you have done.. Using a wizard, its all done behind the scenes, so if you run into trouble its harder to know exactly what went wrong. If there a manual way method or is this far too complicated?
If your mail MX is pointing to a Hygiene solution such as symantec or proofpoint and then that service hands your mail to a public IP for your EOP server do you put your EOP public IP in the text box at 7:34 mark of the video?
Hi Niyas, great video just want to ask you if i want on-premises(exchange 2013) mailbox users to make a use full features of microsoft teams (calendar, meeting) shall i go with classic topology of hybrid configuration?
i followed your video for migration, it was great however i got the following error message - hcw8078 migration endpoint could not be created. can you do a tutorial on how to resolve endpoint issues? or give me a hint on how to deal with this. Its becoming a nightmare for.
If I have 2 separate domains with a two way trust and separate exchange environments going to 1 O365 tenant do I run the Hybrid config wizard on a machine in each domain
Hello Niyas, Thank you for the videos. Much appreciate it. How to configure MX records for office 365 and configure priorities between on perm? Can you please help on this. Thank you
In a hybrid setup, you can prioritize by giving lesser value for office 365 Mx value in DNS records. After this step, all emails will come to EOP of office 365 and any email to on-prem will send over tls connection
ITProGuide Thank you Niyas for coming back to me on this. Can you please make a video or guide me on how to set this up? I want on perm to have more priority. Thank you
