If I'm recalling correctly, in a previous video, you mentioned that no SSL certificate will be required if we install the hybrid agent. Yet, you choose an SSL certificate in this video. Why is that?
SMTP doesn't traverse the Hybrid Agent and still requires a public certificate for mail flow between Microsoft 365 or Office 365 and your on-premises organization. SMTP traffic is out of scope for the Hybrid Agent.

Hi Niyas, i was able to migrate my on premises user email to office 365, but there is an issue the on-premises users are not able to communicate or send emails to users in office 365 and vise versa
Hi, Thank you for the article. I have a doubt. If we previously configure and complete the classic tipology, but we are afraid about change the certificate. Is there a problem if we re-run the HCW and pick the modern one instead the classic?? there's could be an issue or having problems with exchange doing that or is perfectly viable?

I got a question. What about a scenario where the customer needs an on-premise Exchange for users/attributes management only (including synchronization) ? From what I read and understand from your tutorial, we do not require to open any inbound ports for Modern Hybrid Topology, but the HCW asks to provide the External EWS URL. Does this mean I need to configure public facing ?

I didn't get your first question. The second question, you need to allows outbound ports to exchange online. It is more safer because exchange onprem initiate connection requests.
@@itproguide Hello, while running the hybrid wizard (either classic or modern topology), I get a warning asking the external EWS url. Its right before I need to enter the on-premise credentials. This is used for moving mailboxes to or from Exchange Online. In a particular scenario, I don't require mailboxes in the on-premise exchange. Do I absolutely need the EWS url accessible from outside ?

Thanks for the videos bro. we have an on premise exchange server and all the AD users has been synchronized to Office 365 through Azure AD Sync ( I have enabled Exchange hybrid deployment option in Azure AD sync). So we want to keep exchange server as it is , but the problem started when we started using Microsoft teams doesn't show up Calendar icon. is there any way to fix that. ? your help is much appreciated .

They are already using EOP online for inbound and outbound email filtering. I would like to know if there is anything special I need to do to setup Office365 full hybrid.

Exchange hybrid is done with Hybrid configuration wizard, first setup azure ad sync, then run hybrid configuration wizard, choose preferred email flow. I have explained all in the same series
