I've been looking for a dumbbell and jump rope program (which is how I found you). I see that this is a 90 day program, 5 days a week. Is all 5 days structured like this? With just different exercises? Or do you have like 3 days like this, 1 recovery day, 1 core day. Could I get an idea of how it's structured? I appreciate your help!

I started doing the thing last year in 2023. With all due respect I don't have my own studios to jump 🦘🪢 rope in I live in Buffalo 🐃 🦬 N.Y. where it snows so I have to go to a gym in order to jump 🦘🪢 rope. It took me one year to learn but I am getting better at this jumping rope 🪢. Brian R.

I do 20mins jump rope but i do it 1minute jump 30sec rest Repeat 5x Then rest 3minutes 4 Sets total of 20minutes ... Is this effective for loosing fat everyday ? Or need to be 20minutes straight jump rope ??
I too love coffee, Dan! You said it with so much love haha!! You asked what other kind of workouts we'd be interested in. I am def. here for the jump rope; and I love it combined with other type of moves like DBs, body weight moves, etc. I also would love beginner heavy ropes videos: I finally got up the courage to use my 2 lb, and boy is it a challenge. I'd love some shorter/gentler workouts that use the heavy DBs, but maybe more rest time. Oh, and yes, I would definitely watch recovery videos: I use other RUclipsrs like Yoga with Uliana on recovery/lighter days, so if you offered recovery workouts, I would do them! Thank you!
I've been incorporating DBs in my jump rope intervals for a while now. Ever since I started watching JRD videos back in 2019. But I use them in between the jump rope segment where you would ordinarily do a bodyweight movement. In the 30 seconds, I'll throw in things like manmakers, bent over rows, maybe DB thrusters, deficit pushups, floor presses, DB cleans, curls, alternating DB snatch then do a 30 sec jump rope segment then back to the DBs for a different movement. I'll do 5-6 cycles of 8 30/10 rounds with a minute rest. It's a pretty decent session.
Great workout Dan! Will the JRD Jump Rope and Dumbbell 90 day workout program be similar in content? I found the mix and length to be just right. It had just the right amount of jumping, dumbbells and rest. I found too much jumping hurts my lower back as some of your other followers have mentioned as well. I know you said you were going to address this in a future video so I'm looking forward to it. I'll be signing up for the JRD jump rope and dumbbell program. I'm going to pass this year on the JRDtv series programs although they were great too!

Hello Dan, happy new year! Quick question, in all the years that you have been jump roping, have you had any lower back issues? I used to absolutely love jump roping (and mixing it with other light resistance workouts and HIIT exercises) but have had lower back issues (bulging disc) this past 1.5 years and am aiming to get back into jump roping again but wondering if it is too much of a high-impact exercise. Thanks for the input!
dumbbell's are great but now a day i just do 3 times a week 30 min jumprope and 2 times a week 50 pullups/chinups, 50 dips and 50 pushups. works great for me :D but i highly recommend people to try out multiple workouts and see what sticks❤

I mean you could, but you want to give your muscles time to rest and recover. This is why I designed the program to rest specific muscle groups on different days, and there are full cardio days as well.
