The mining one touches my heart a little, I live in a remote area in Pennsylvania that used to be a great mining spot, the town next to me was booming since people moved in to mine. Eventually the mining stopped due to most of the coal being mined out, but it reminds of some things in my life. My great grandfather died in 2001 of Black Lung, while the other one I hadn't met but also died of Black Lung. It also reminds me of the countless accidents, such as the time a mine collapsed, or the time miners dug into the river and the water filled the tunnel, most drowned.
