Folks really do enjoy your videos. The videos show that you hunt because it’s fun, you hunt hard, and you don’t start or end a video shoving gear down our throats. Just good dudes enjoying time chasing mountain bucks. - Thanks for putting these videos together. Looking forward to the next one.
Hey, I'm looking into going for elk and mule deer in idaho and have never been before. Would you recommend a couple of units that have both to help get me started on the right path?
@@scottr8767 Thank you for the feedback! Sig Kilo 5K or 8K are my best rangefinder recommendations unless you go with a binocular with built-in RF and ballistics like a Swaro EL range or Zeiss Victory RF.
congrats on harvesting. i have been thinking of hunting idaho as a non-resident. right now, i am trying to understand how to buy tags for 2025. im thinking that i may have already missed out, something about Dec. 10th?
Yeah the NR draw is always early In December this year the 10th and tags are normally all sold out by the end of the day when it opens. Keep checking I. Throughout the season though there could be some United with returned tags. There might be an OTC opportunity still.
Hey bro, if you don’t mind, think about removing the Idaho hashtag. #stopgeotagging the areas (including state) that you hunt. I mean think about it please! The locals thank you…
@@TimberTramp Nonresident tags have quotas and they always sell out no matter what. The number of NR hunters in the field in any given unit are based solely on limited tag quota. Therefore, my video stating that the hunt took place in the state of Idaho has zero impact on NR hunting pressure or harvest rate. Residents are going to purchase their tags and hunt regardless. If general tags were unlimited for non-res however, I’d completely agree with your argument. We took two average bucks on a general season hunt - it’s really not that impressive. Harvest stats published by F&G are more revealing than Idaho being in my video title.
Hey bro, if you don’t mind, think about removing the dumb comments before you post them. Although you might have a point; nobody, ever, thought about hunting in Idaho until folks started hashtagging it on their RUclips videos and other social media pages 😂
@@adammenke229 I absolutely did, all legal portions boned out. Plus neck meat which isn’t even legally required. Been doing it that way by myself for years and years. Ignorant comment.

No way you took all the meat, you get close to 100 lbs of meat plus the head and all your gear you are talking 170 lb minimum pack, I've tried

People pack out their deer and camp in one trip all the time. It's really not that unheard of.
What a stupid comment. If you can’t do it, hate I guess.
I think Brian Call said it best. “Some men can, and some men can’t.”
What a stupid comment! Just hating!
