Callie, a 26-month-old Dutch shepherd, is one of the newest additions to the 123rd Special Tactics Squadron in Louisville, Ky. She is the Kentucky Air Guard's first member of the 123rd Search and Rescue K-9 program, making her the only search and rescue dog in the entire Department of Defense.
Dogs in warfare have a long history starting in ancient times. From war dogs trained in combat to their use as scouts, sentries and trackers, their uses have been varied and some continue to exist in modern military usage.
Dogs have been used for many different purposes. Different breeds were used for different things, but always met the demands of the handlers. Many roles for dogs in war are obsolete and no longer practiced, but the concept of the war dog still remains alive and well in modern warfare.

Those dogs usually have a camera attached to them and they have earpieces so their handler can give them commands! These dogs do it all!
US millitary working dogs do. Tho their training techs and gear are actually secret and is a crime to even export or reveal some aspects on their training and gear. lost lips sink ships and we dont want our enemy to have the same tactical advantage of having WMDs with the same level of training and methods used. also, none of the dogs in this video are being trained as search and rescue dogs so they prob dont have much protection or bite work.

This dog love him, but does not love you saying you know what this dog enjoy or not, dog living in the city in bigger towns just get a short walk on concrete and asphalt and are used as an emotional comfort toy, would probably love to have the chance to have 5% of the adventures this dog have.

I'mnot sure of that, had pretty big dogs that size who loved sitting in front of me on the motorcykel and was very very sad if I didn't let him ride with me, that dog loved speed and if nobody had him on a leashhe tried to jump up to sit on the motorcycle as soon as someone was sitting on it, if a human show fear though the dog would be scared to, but a dog that accept a human guidance is braver with a brave human and trust such a person while a scared person and the dog feel way more stressed out and fear the situation not only for what could happen to otself but also because it nows that on that situation it also have full responsibility as the leader of the pack that have to take care of a human thats not capable to take care of itself, in that situation the dog may freak out and panic.
If anyone thinks this is a good idea, and they claim to be an animal lover, then they need professional help. Just because you can train an animal to do an idiot thing, doesn't mean you should or that it's not cruel.

The graffiti has all disappeared, they get off their skateboards and walk past others on the sidewalks, they don’t shoot fireworks in our neighborhood, they respectfully greet anyone older than them, and I hear they are all doing well in school now….. made up for years of dipshit crybaby parents not spanking them…. I recommend it, and freely admit that on that one thing the leftist idiots were right, it DOES take a village to raise a child, cause sure as shit allowing only the parents to raise those children wasn’t working, but once I got involved those kids became useful parts of society with bright futures ahead of them…..
