I’m familiar with C10, C20. K-5, K10, K20 & K30… C meaning 2WD and K meaning 4WD and the 5/10 meaning 1/2ton? Yea 1/2 ton. 20 meaning 3/4 and 30 meaning 1 ton…. But R10????? Can you explain, “R10” this is the first video seen by you.
Will do! I’ve been really slacking on getting it done. I keep getting side tracked with other projects, but it’s going to be getting some love this winter. 👍
@@chrissnodgrass2705 c10 which is a 1500 only went to 87. Blazers, suburbans and 2500s did carry over until 91 then went to the OBS style like the 1500’s did in 88
What sounds better.. the Ls1 Vette or the 383 R10?? 🤷🏼♂️
That truck sounds better!
Stuff With Cleatus I agree! Definitely has a good sound to it 👍
R10

87 is the year that they went with that name... Still just a C10 but it's fuel injected so they changed it up a bit
This video was outstanding. Thanks for showing this process. Note to self...safety glasses for falling rust!
Yes!!! 😂
What did you remove on drivers side to get to the bolt that is under dash to remove door hinge? Appreciate the answer.
Keep posting more videos of the square body!! 🔥

Very helpful. I have to replace drivers side on my 85.
Thanks! Hope it helps 👍
Excellent job!
Thanks for making it clear.
👍
Whoa! Sweet logo!
Thanks I made it myself 😂
Sbc sounded great
Do u think this will be the same with a old k5?
As long as it’s has the quad square headlights it should be the same 👍
What headers are you running on this truck
I believe they were just flowtech headers
383 sounds mean 💪
Odd both my squarebodys are SAE
Thanks man.
Where did you get that new fender? I need a new left and right fender for my 1986 Chevy k10
Honestly carparts.com would be my starting point
My grandpa actually had one brand new in the box. I’m assuming he got it in the late 80’s. Nothing like having an oem body panel! 👍
LMC truck, auto metal direct are both really good options, they have a cheaper one and more expensive one
I have both left and right fender for mine, hop on LMC trucks and they have a lot of oem parts and fit perfect!
Corvette all the way
I thought they were spot welded on...i was partially right. Didnt know there was a inner core that comes off with it.
Thanks
Glad it helped 👍
Metric bolts ?
Well.. probably not but I was using metric tools and it worked 😂
The truck sounds better
But you never uploaded another c10 video 😢
yeah I ended up selling it unfortunately 😭
Yo didn’t show me how to get the bolt by the door off…. I can’t reach it anywhere
Mine is a 78 . All SAE 😅
Sell the car and get the truck done. 😆
QUIT USING METERIC TOOLS ON THE TRUCK😅
It’s 81-91
Well for most people it’s 81-87. Unless you have the 2500’s or blazer/suburban ect
@@ModdedProjectsGarage the K5 Blazer, Suburban and C10 when to 91
