Went to the show to see Ween opening. Stuck around and watched this crazy shit. One of the best shows I've ever seen. Everyone on stage is a musical genius.
+3rdworldgod Was seeing WeeN as much as possible round that time - always playing Metallica haha. wanted to hit this show so bad! combos like this make we want to move to Nawlins every year when Jazz Fest lineups come out..... Both groups tho - i'd follow 'em anywhere. qualitayyyyyyyyyyyyy
@@dustycomputer1806 There were many great bands playing long instrumentals like this all from mid 60's till mid 80's..Then radio got way too corporate, no souls anymore.
holy fuck !! i just hit click now im texting. the les claypool bucket of bernie brains cd blew my mind. now my mind is blown, and its wednesday night, at 930. time to get claypooled !~!
RIP Bernie Worrell. All the musicians in this superband are some of the best players in the game except for Brain. Brain is a alien monster from outer-space who chose the drums as his weapon of mass destruction.
Not mass destruction.. Mass party fun! Jeez you kids dont know how to party! We had huge keg parties, mass weed smoking, and picked up girls, no fights, no gunshots. When you guys can party like that, it will be a great thing.
That is awesome, Bucket playing slap guitar right along with Les.. and he is playing lots of cool slow riffs too, not just shredding..Bucket is awesome too.
I didn't see this show. But I wasn't far away either. Upstairs in a smaller area known then as 'the jungle room' , I attended Progression Sessions with LTJ Bukem and MC Conrad. Awesome show as well. Bonus points for me and my mates checking out the last 15 minutes of the the Brains show because there wasn't any security checking balcony. Love. Thanks for this upload.
This is an amazing performance. I remember watching many bits and pieces of it over the past decade or so, but I've never actually watched the whole thing like this. Thanks for posting!
They played with Ween this night......I forget who opened and who closed. Forget a lot from that night. But it might have been the best concert I've ever gone to.
Kinda like Beck, meets Bootsy, meets Chick Corea absurdly well crafted music, played by masters of their craft, however, if people bought tickets expecting Primus......Big surprise!
Although i could appreciate the talent, I thought Buckethead wasn't quite in the same galaxy as the rest of these guys, but damn.... His solo spot changed my mind. Quick.
Did anybody notice that Buckethead started playing two different melodies which should probably tell the other ones to come back on stage through his short solo part ? When they didn't realize that he wanted them to come back on stage he went to the curtain to tell them
Don't forget Bernie Worrell. The man is a legend.
Nobody forgot...
Bernie and my BF’s Father were both Key wizards, I hope they’re jamming together in the after world.
I would have loved this concert. Claypool is killing... but so is everyone else. I came because of Bernie.
Rip

+3rdworldgod You got to see Ween and these dudes at the same SHOW!!!! Lucky mother...
+3rdworldgod Fuck, Ween was the opener for this show? Awesome!
I would say this band would be way more interesting than Ween, nothing against them but this is SICK!
Ween opening 🤘🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘 nice
RIP Bernie. You were one of the coolest people to ever live
This whole group kicks major butt.
Nuts. Wow. Brain, Buckethead, and Bernie enwrap Claypool's bass in a sea of sound.
Why can't we have this kind of music on the radio anymore? It's beautiful!
cuz it would require the majority of listeners to have creative minds not 3 1/2 minutes of simple, over produced mind numbing repetiton
this was never on the radio
Pokemon Computer I meant the music in general with organic instrumental sounds and no digital effects.
Make it happen!!
@@dustycomputer1806 There were many great bands playing long instrumentals like this all from mid 60's till mid 80's..Then radio got way too corporate, no souls anymore.
I saw the show at Crest Theatre in Sac,ca. Fuckin awesome, Bernie came out puffin a blunt while tuning up his keyboard.
Regardless of what anyone says, this was a collection of the greatest musicians ever!!!
Bless you
Dude, this seriously needs to happen again. What a super group, That is some amazing improvisational music. I really wish they were still touring.
Whatever Les touches is magical and it doesn’t hurt having Buckethead around either. GBG NO EDITS.
RIP Bernie Worrell.
this is the most mind bending live show i have ever watched... absolutely musical genius!!!!! fucking brilliant!
Right???!!
..a band of profound explorative skill, abandon & taste.
i never thought Buckethead could be overshadowed by a bass player but goddamn is Les good
holy fuck !!

Poetic truth
the sonic vibrations of this masterpiece is making my mouse courser dance on screen.

That is awesome, Bucket playing slap guitar right along with Les.. and he is playing lots of cool slow riffs too, not just shredding..Bucket is awesome too.
LESCLAYPOOL N BUCKETHEAD^^^THE PERFECT DUO

So much talent genius

Ahhh...the wonderful vibrations of a beautifully melodic syncronition...
This footage just makes me what to play my guitar!🎸😎
24:21 Love the vintage 80s video game sounds Buckethead makes...
Violet Deliriums 8:41 love it when claypool starts to play the bassline and buckethead slaps along :D
Doktor Jekyll van Hyde hell yeah
This is an amazing performance. I remember watching many bits and pieces of it over the past decade or so, but I've never actually watched the whole thing like this. Thanks for posting!
Many thanks guys.
So dope. great multi cam footage. GREAT show. ...i was there.
Two words: electric microdots.
They played with Ween this night......I forget who opened and who closed. Forget a lot from that night. But it might have been the best concert I've ever gone to.
Jesus, where was I in '03 that I didn't know about this supergroup? I recently got their studio album which I love, but this is a whole other level.
Fortunate enough to see them 5x including their debut
These guys should get together more often....!😁
bucket head tapping is amazing
Brain is awesome! I also loved his work on "The Brown Album" and "Antipop"
super guys! music just great! bucket rulesss
🤣 Brain carrying everybody 🤣
Exactly
My man, San Pablo Ave Claypool... RIP Bernie
Totally amazing!!! Thanks for sharing
This was one of my favorite Claypool tours. We did several shows from it. Then again in 2004. Happy birthday Les!
EXCELENT ! thanks 4 sharing ....
I saw this tour in chicago (@The Double Door) Great show!
Rest in peace Bernie,.,.
Just noticed 42:00-45.00 or so lined up eerily perfectly with The Blue Jay's, Backstabbers.=-= that was playing on the radio.
He's great with the talking heads too
all right its getting better :-)
Saw them in Seattle in '03. What a concert!
Brian Carroll aka Buckethead is a guitar genious ;)
+Kyle Mason Who is this Brian Carroll you speak of? Only Buckethead.
+Tommy the Cat ;)
Buckethead is a genius!
Bernie Worrell is the man! Love his stuff with George Clinton too. Grandmaster FUNK!
oh yeah! AND Praxis baby for us spscial folk.
RIP Bernie W.
Elephant ghost at +40 mins is the jam
I was referring to the jam at 42 mins
Technically, this is a supergroup, right?
Without a doubt
Oh sure
This is THE supergroup
@@jeremy9325 I was gonna say that!! it really is!!
techincally isn't les claypool in like 20 supergroups?
The kind of music that maces you think "What the fuck am I listening to?" :DDD
just the kind of music that maces you. Right in the face.
I was at this show. Turned my brain to shit.
MASTERFUL FUCKAROUND...
Kinda like Beck, meets Bootsy, meets Chick Corea absurdly well crafted music, played by masters of their craft, however, if people bought tickets expecting Primus......Big surprise!

FNA man I faved this before I saw one note!!! Thanks man
this line up could have easily been the original primus. yet so much better.
can't tell if serious...
stop being so sacrilegious m8
Really no Ler or Herb?... I love all Claypool's side projects but Primus is still one of the best trios ever.
That drummer is a monster
Excelente!!!!!!
dolennon, Ween opened. I was there too, such an amazing night.
! HOLY SHIT YES !
Did anybody notice that Buckethead started playing two different melodies which should probably tell the other ones to come back on stage through his short solo part ? When they didn't realize that he wanted them to come back on stage he went to the curtain to tell them
Doktor Jekyll van Hyde around what time?
***** During his solo part, starting at around 36:09
I wish this was what we were getting pushed on us today instead of the steady diet of shit we're expected to like.
+Jens Jesfjeld I like my media nice and thick
1:15 the sounds that Sleestaks make when they're Thuggin
32:00 and on.... sick jammin!
I hear a Bauhaus homage at the 20 minute mark...... Oh Bela.
The harmonie between them is NICE , but BucketHead, again is the star....:-D....no,no...All of them are shining.....WOW!
Do you have video of Ween from this show?
That jam that starts at 31:40 so should be released on an album
I was at that concert and it was amazing. Ween was a bit of a let down, but this more than made up for it.
huh huh... huh ehhhh huyh huh.... "WEEN"...
wow wow wow playon brothathas
Mama rolling over in her grave . All that good money for piano lessons thrown away !
Bucketheads biggest fan as you can see is Les Claypool
Buckethead is God and all but....that drummer :O
+Snoxicle hey man check out BUCKETHEAD AND BRAIN JAM
(brain is the drummer)
Doktor Jekyll van Hyde thanks man, it was awesome
Snoxicle i know ^^
+Snoxicle meh, Tim Alexander is better.
+Boognish MEH? Dude, whether you think Tim is better or not - Brain is worthy of so much more then "Meh"! They guy is an awesome drummer. IMO :)
Anyone have the setlist with times?
My only question is....Will it be Master of Puppies or Master of Buckets?
Is that a fucking Ram on stage ? lmao
Buckidhed привет!!!!!!!!!!
haha 41:38 that early hints at the chocolate factory album!!!!!!!!
Except none of them except Les Claypool Made (Primus And the Chocolate Factory)
Les is not Jaco P. but has his own set of chops for sure. Great stuff Just different styles.
Does anyone know the name of the track beginning at 09. minutes?
im not on drugs, you're on drugs
buckethead shreds
Brian Candy 🥴🍻
I think, that maybe, they might be sort of a little under the influence of some kind of something..... maybe
Talent?
37:50 - 38:32
If that was its' own song, I would listen to it a lot.
FUCKING CLASSICK
49:45 - 50:45 - Moby Dick would be proud.
What's the name of the first song after Bernie's epic solo.
What is buckethead playing at 40:20
Enticing! Is this a continuous more or less free floating jam session or is there some kind of playlist?
+gewinnste It is essentially just a jam. They all agreed that they would have no practice or rehearsal and just jam on stage.
+Jables M. but they played one song "elephant ghost" i think ^^
Impromptu Funk👽💀✌
am I the only one that thinks it seems like there's a little tension between Les and bucket head?
Does anyone know what the name of the song beginning at 42. minute is?
Elephant ghost
