Thanks for sharing, I'm gonna do this on mjne soon. I will say that as long as you have the new belt, I'm gonna just simply cut the old belt off that way I don't damage the fan.
This video was helpful. Shit design with the belt guides on the motor pulley though. Why couldn't that just be a bracket that could be unbolted? MTD engineers suck!
Thank you for this video..! U've been more help than you'll rcer know...
You're welcome! I'm really glad it was of help :)

You're welcome. That's a good idea.
great video I have pully guards on my rear drive that made it super difficult. Not sure how to remove the shield without removing the belt wheel
Thank you I'm glad it was of help. I'm not sure without seeing it.
You are welcome
The muffler has a bracket that can be loosened so the pipe doesn’t come out.
This is just above me. And it's a shame Cub made it so hard to replace.
Someone told me they got their pulley to come off. Maybe just soak it with power blaster?

I'm glad it was of help. It's a terrible design.
So raisin (raising) the motor you need to break out the muffler pipe? Lol
Muffler just slide back on to the pipe.
dude! that belt pulley slides off the crankshaft and the belt comes off. no need to pull the engine.....just for your information,
I tried but it wouldn't come off. You're the second person to tell my that.
It took 30 min. to build a tool, and it turned a bad job into a 10bmin. job.
Can you share this tool you made ?
