I can’t stand that newer CEs don’t come with actual discs [this is mostly a Sony problem ‘cause RE4, Elden Ring and Callisto Protocol all have discs, while HFW and Ragnarok didn’t], but I still love a high quality statue [Callisto Protocol has the best statue I’ve seen in a while] and other cool goodies that come with them.
I bought the collectors edition of Doom 2016 which came with a poster and some patches. Only bought it because it was actually cheaper than the standard version haha
I collect sealed games which a lot of people would find stupid and a waste of money. It’s preference I guess. I personally don’t care to collect CE as the statues and stuff just collect dust.
with me i got the spider man ps4 CE only becuase i grandfather gifted it to me before he out of nowwhere passed away and i hold more centiment with that, i see the spider man 2 editions and i just see i will probally get more my money's woth with the digital deluxe edtion becuase for the CE you are only basticly paying fior the statue and a steelbook with the the game being digital wtich is wherre many publishers will be going as the years go on
