As a mechanical designer who has used Creo, Inventor and Solidworks it's good to see Creo beginning to catch up. I've always considered Creo a very good draft-persons package or good for companies which slightly modify their existing well established products, but very poor for conceptual design. This is sort of reflected by this video where they consider time to model a part as if you already know what the part is going to look like. I usually just start with a load of blocks and add and remove bits as I figure out how the design will work, don't think the software people at PTC really understand how the conceptual design process works. This is why multi-body parts are so useful, for playing with ideas, and why PTC resisted implementing it in there CAD package for so long, they didn't understand it's merits.
The biggest weakness with Creo for me anyway and why I bought a Solidworks licence is the assembly modelling in Creo, again it assumes you already know what the assembly will look like and what parts you will need and how they will connect to each other with it's historical tree where parts are linked in a sequential order from a base part. Solidworks and Inventor are much easier for playing with ideas and concepts, you can mate in any order, add parts and delete parts at you will without the whole thing falling over. Creo is probably more stable with it's assembly modelling order build order which is again better suited to drafts-people rather than designers.

Thanks for the video that shows strong productivity and ease of use increase of Creo. These two parameters are distinguishing Creo from other tools.

"Creo" and "ease of use" should never be in one sentence.

I find it's complexity a great feature, for me is easy to use and that helps as a deterrent against industrial spionage.

Is that possible to assign different material in single assembly parts

When designing the chain, I will encounter some problems, and I have to make constraints to make it display movable. It seems to be troublesome in Creo. I hope PTC will consider these aspects.

When will PTC do some chain array functions similar to Solidworks

Creo is very powerful in all types, but it seems to be a bit worse in automation design compared to NX. For example, Siemens has MCD. How can I use PTC software to simulate automation equipment?

It can be done since Pro/E versions, but requires discipline to learn how to do it.

Yoc can do that simulation just need to know the tricks. But just don't compare software's.

Creo starts in the multi-body to compare other soft that use it for at least 10 years or bases have integrated the multi-body , I'm sure Creo will quickly fill these gaps and catch up.

Just like Jordan Peterson said... Don't compare yourself with someone else, compare yourself to who you were in the past.
