The fix for your internal drives showing as external can be done by updating the plist section external icons change that too yes or true depending on the plist editor you are using. If that still fails to change to internal drives then download innie kext and add it to your kexts folder and update the kernel section in your plist.

thanks for the work. Just a tip for doing tutorials with video captures. Please capture full screen or crop in. Several times you say "this step is critical pay attention" and your screen cap is way too small to read what you are doing. The main issue is you put everything on megadrive. All of your files (other than your config files (which are also broke)) are out of date now. I had to manually go find everything myself. Not that its impossible but it would have been significantly easier and allowed for slight future proofing your video to use the actual links to the files instead of uploading them to megadrive. 2nd, your plist file is borked. When I get to the step where you run the update smbios and selecting your plist it says Plist File Malformed "__init__() got an unexpected keyword argument 'use_builtin_types' . I will go and try to find a vid for setting up a plist file.

This means you have a different Ethernet card then me but this is ok because they are usually not hard to find kexts for. Do you know your motherboard name?

Add „-v“ without quotes into your boot-args of your config.plist, and look where it stucks. Search this error on Google and find solutions. This is Hackintoshing.

They are actually all in the EFI folder in the description. You shouldn't need them if you boot from the USB if you want to boot straight from your hard drive just copy the EFI folder to your hard drive :) I'll made a super fast tutorial on that later.

@@PixelSheep I get the same. Look for the latest version, v2.1.026 Beta. I still have the error 404 when it tries to download Clover.

If u want to fix the Ethernet/No MacOS found issue in GibMacOs: Just install the latest Version from Google. Worked for me! No Need Go change Kext etc

Sounds like a broken installation, try reinstalling it on your USB making sure everything is installed correctly and try again

I found the fix. I successfully made a hackintosh. I’ll leave the fix in the next comment. It was just missing the .kext for my Realtek networks card.

Hey man I have aorus b450 elite and all my specs are identical to yours. I get the internet connection error, how do I add my own realtek kext?
Im pretty sure you just throw it into the EFI/OC/KEXTS folder and then add it to the config

Thanks for the explanation, It worked on my Asus Prime X470 Pro motherboard but I bought a new Asus Rog Strix X570 E Gaming motherboard and I see the Apple logo but it won't go further. Can you tell me what goes wrong ? Do I have to change some setttings ? I have this system.
* Motherboard: Asus Rog Strix X570 E Gaming ( bios 2606 )
* Processor AMD: Ryzen 7 2700X
* Video: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 Ti
* Memory: Corsair 64 GB Ram
It worked with my older Asus Prime X470 motherboard but with the new X570-E Gaming board I cannot make it work. When I booth the system it stays on the Apple logo.
What can I do to make it work with my new motherboard ? Are there bios zettings I have to change ?

hi all went fine then at the end the gen bios bit i select config.plist and i get an error " Plist file malformed: " _init_() got an unexpected keyword 'use_buitin_types' error message? everything else went fine. if i try to boot anyway it gets stuck on the apple logo. DSoes anyone have any ideas. i have tried redownloading etc and rebooting my pc?

So first: do I have to had windows AND Mac os at the same Time on my pc that It will work or can I just install macos only? And other question does it work with my specs:

Do you have to have Ethernet to use this approach? My B450 Mobo has WiFi and when I try and download Catalina to the MAC OSX drive I get an error saying an internet connection is required to install macOS.
Instead of the file he uploaded download the new GibmacOs and it will work.
I drag the config.plist but it gives me an error arguement, do you know what going on?
