I have a 1990's leather jacket that has the fringes, it's been hanging in the closet for years! It's gotten stiff over the years from being stored. Is there anything i can get to put on it to loosen up the jacket so it can be worn again? Thanks
condition it a bit with a leather conditioner like bick 4. be careful which conditioner you use if it's brown, as some can darken it a bit, if it's black, you don't have to worry about the colour. wearing it will help too, as long as the leather isn't completely dried out. new jackets can be stiff depending on the leather used, and wearing them will soften them a little bit, depending on the kind of leather.
@@mel.xnx._I've been looking for the same thing. Apparently the inside of jackets dont get dirty? Or if they do you spray them? Doesnt sound too promising
@@DiffuseOne I did and they ripped the lining. So much for professionals. This is a company that receives jacket from all over the country so its not an unknown company
Would be nice to see at least a small video on the SHERIDAN LEATHER BARN JACKET. Just hard to pay $500 for a jacket online without really seeing it. Would just like to see a little more. Same as a few of the others that videos were made for 4 years ago or so it says.
it's not really necessary, unless your jacket is very dirty. shoes and boots are more robust than jackets, so don't be too aggressive if your jacket is dirty and needs a more thorough clean. you don't need to clean leather jackets as much as you clean leather shoes, because jackets aren't near the ground and getting dirty all the time.
The only guy I’m trusting to clean a leather jacket
"honor your wild". 💓💯
You’re so cool! Thanks for this
What if I don’t have a leather conditioner?? What’s an alternative
Thanks for you video. What is the product you sprayed on the jacket inner fabric?
This also works with black leather jackets, right? Or is it the other kind?I'm not sure
Where can this be ordered??

@@Murtagh653 its the tan color
@@bubbag9429 try some bick 4, it's a very mild conditioner, and try wearing the jacket a bit.
@@Murtagh653 ok, thanks.
I think you can just bend and work it until you can wear it, then wear it all the time.
Hello there, would you recommend using boot guard to condition and protect the leather on a jacket??
How do you clean the inside of the jacket? Like the flannel lining part?

@@oddrigo I was wondering if there was a way to deep clean it. I have a leather jacket from the 80's and it's really dirty

Take it to a professional

A soft sponge and some bee-wax conditioner made it look great.
I love you Buffalo Jackson
best unintentional asmr
I drop BBQ sauce on the inside part and I can’t find anywhere how to clean that part and get rid off the smell

My jacket was left in a motorcycle saddle bag and got a lot of mold and mildew on it. Really bad. How should I clean it?
You’d need to prob have professionally restored dry cleaned anti mold chemicals etc
Vinegar & Water solution. Then, use a leather conditioner after it dries
Aren’t you meant to use a horse hair brush to apply the saddle soap to the jacket or is it too aggressive ?

What conditioner do i buy?!?!
What is the name of that brown jacket looks good
I think it's called Briggs trucker jacket
Is this the brown or the cognac version?
Don’t forget 24 hours after washing cleaning your jacket
