2023 Mazda2

While the C-segment hatch has all but disappeared from the South African vehicle marketplace, the B-segment is alive and well, with excellent offerings from Europe, Korea and Japan all vying for the buyers' attention. The Mazda2 may not be the newest kid on the block, but that doesn't mean it should be overlooked.

The mazda 2 used to be a bargain for what it offers, now it's outdated and gotten more expensive. This thing is literally the same prices as a small suv with more horsepower in my country.

For under 400k you can rather find a lightly used suv. The small cars are getting ridiculously priced these days making it impossible for even the middle class to afford a new small car.
