Good review mate! Bought my second Mazda 2 from insurance auction. Mine is silver sport, manual. My wife's is lime green and automatic. Extremely reliable and fun to drive. Sad they dont make cars like these in 2023 anymore.
I had 2 of these, a 1.3 ts2 and a 1.3 venture. Now on a Fiesta ST, which is obviously a different animal, but these, though much less powerful, have a basic sporty set up with great handling and direct steering and immediate eager engines that sound great revving in 2nd and pull so well. Theyre great fun. Mazda called it zoom zoom! Shame they never made a hot hatch version, though even the 90 horse versions are so enjoyable. Real simple well engineered drivers cars. Not so sure of the newer ones. They seem to have lost that spark, though theyll be well made too.
Lol a granny car fr mate got Mine few months ago all my mates say am driving a feminine car but who cares if it does the job I down graded but never regretted buying them it saves a lot of fuel expenses it does the job very economical for work purposes they good runners 💯
I bought my lime one last summer because due to unpredictable nature of life I needed a car and since I needed to relearn driving I decided to get a small car. Mazda being my favourite brand so the Mazda 2 was my choice. Found a great condition one in my area and got down to business. At first I had mixed feeling about it as I kinda liked it but on the other hand I was also ashamed that I am not driving something cooler. Now I simply love mine and I don't want to part ways with it.
I just bought 2 owner fsh only 16k kilometer 2007 Mazda2 Sport CVT in Japan with 3 yrs gurantee. It is so fun to drive even with CVT. I have 300hp 2020 Subaru WRX. But 15yrs old tiny Mazda2 is more fun to drive everyday car. I also had window washer pump broken but replaced with gurantee. 16000 kilimeter on clock is like a new car.
Sounds like you got a really good buy👍🏻 Yeah they’re great cars to drive. I think a lot of people overlook these cars because they haven’t got much power, but get them round some corners and you’re keeping up with cars double the power!
Facebook marketplace or eBay are good places to start. If you can’t find anything, might be worth going into one of the Mazda 2 Facebook forums and asking if anyone is breaking a Mazda2
This car is so underrated. I got one off an older lady with 60k on it and I've loved ever minet of driving it. So fun. I lowered the car but to be honest it handled better with the stock suspension and a rear beam brace in the back. Also put an exhaust on and that made my power go down a bit. So me going back to stock now. This car was engineered extremely well.
Joey, can you tell me what your opinion of the 1.5 TS2 with an auto box is? Obviously it’s not as well specced as yours. I’ve seen a nice clean one from 2011 with low mileage near me. Would value your steer - pros and cons. Cheers.
As I'm from the UK, I've never seen or driven an auto Mazda 2. I know that the autos are slower than the manuals. I'm sure the auto gearboxes are reliable enough so if it's within budget and you like it then go for it. How I see it is, if you want to be really involved with the car then get a manual, but if you just want something to chill and cruise in then get the auto if the options there.
@@JoeyWarnerOfficial thanks Joey. I’m from the Uk too. There’s quite a few autos about actually but they get better the younger they are. 2011 versions have no cruise control or parking sensors, fewer airbags, are poorer on emissions and higher to tax.
@@JoeyWarnerOfficial it's a bit thirsty yea but not too bad. Urban & local driving can get 27-32mpg if I behave, if I'm heavy on the acceleration it's 22-25mpg. Motorway driving, max MPG I got was 42mpg. It's a 2016 Mazda 3 2L naturally aspirated with 165ps so does 0-60 in 8 flat. Got the air damn kit installed so it looks beefy. It really is a great car to drive, bought it brand new in 2016 for £20k fully loaded with only 7 factory miles on the clock. My dealership had to put an order in at the factory in Japan as they didn't have a car to my spec.

Yes, the days before feature creep so they can jack up prices. Gone now sadly.

As long as you’re happy with it that’s all that matters👍🏻 They’re brilliant cars.
Deffo not granny cars 😂😂😂😂 they’re well good looking. Sounds like ur mates might be a bit envious lad

Always looking forward to these
Great to hear! :D
I have a black Mazda 2 TS and love it, fun to drive around town. I think it looks stylish and easy to manoeuvre 💕
I am loving the way my drives. A bit too loud in highway which I have to use a lot
They drive amazing! Yeah they can be a little bit noisy but not too bad.
Such a great car!

I have 2012 Mazda 2- love it, very reliable. Fun and zippy. I have 206,000 km on it
Same as mine except 64 plate 😊 love how quick they are using 2nd 3rd gear! ❤
My Mazda 2 has a 170,000 miles. I am getting ready to replace part of the exhaust with a Magnaflow to celebrate.
I have a 2012 white Mazda 2 looks just like yours but yours looks better. Where can I buy a set of headlights and side skirts like yours?

I’m thinking of buying this thank you for an excellent review

I swear the body has top quality steel components too, especially for a Japanese car. You almost never see these things rusted out.
2011 Mazda 2 cars are sold between 13800 USD and 18600 USD in Turkey. The minimum wage is 2.6 USD per hour net.
Bro is it true that the biggest problem is rust ?
Hello, 41,4 uk mpg or us mpg ? Coz mine is around 39 or 40 uk mpg
Which year is it?

Very Pot Video ‼
We love a pot video
I love my 2011 mazda for the fact it's made in Japan and not Mexico or some shet places in America.
Would’ve been nice if Mazda put an engine with some more power in it
I have a mazda 2.
Awesome😁
Car twins x
Gotta love Mazda 2’s‼️
Mate is the “sport” different in shape to older mazda 2? It looks way slicker but i cant point out what it is
Also how did u make it sound louder than stock?
Average 50mpg in mine
But then . I never drive like that lol
Haha maybe I should take a leaf out of your book!
Impossible. These engines/cars only get 33 to 38 if you're lucky
Must have a rare one then
@@paulwreck6810 you’ll probably see high 30s if you only drive round town, but on a motorway mine will average at around 50mpg cruising at 65mph.
boy racer
I really want to get the 1.5 sport as a runner, but I already have a 2.0 mazda 3 and would get murdered if I got another car 😂
Haha what's the 2.0 like as a daily driver? I can imagine it's quite thirsty.
