I can watch that forever, it is so relaxing watching you travel and show us around. From all those traveling alone through Japan or abroad channels you are one of the top. Still, I wonder though, how many people are in a train at a time filming silently, while checking the seats, the power plugs, cup holders, etc and present snacks to the camera. Anyway, I am looking forward visiting Japan coming year.
I just got home from my 14 days Japan trip, and still Hokkaido is on the top of my list. The vibe in Sapporo, Hakodate, and Hokkaido in general is very chill, very different from huge city like Tokyo or Osaka. I miss it already, took this train too! Thank you for your beautiful video!
Reminds a lot of my hometown. As my dad used to say: "Remember kid, if it snows then it is warm. But if the skies are clear, you'll gonna freeze to death." ❄ Very true, since it's rarely snowing when the temperature is lower that -20C, so from 0 to -10C is actually warm. Very beautiful weather in Sapporo. Thank you for the nice video. 🥰
Sapporo is such a jewel. Lovely city and amazing music scene. My DJ friends love playing at Precious Hall in Sapporo and said it's their favorite venue in the whole world. The people are super nice and open minded so they can play anything.
I enjoyed the passage along the coast, with the rain and the choppy waters and being in the comfort of the cabin. A pity that the train does not have vending machines on board, on long distances. Very much appreciated the reverence of the driver when exiting the cabin, indicative of respect and courtesy. I cannot fail to mention the much-loved "bento". Thanks for the ride.🇺🇾
Although this ride is not on a Shinkansen, I found it very fascinating. I liked the view of the Snow from the train window. Watching this Snowy landscape whizz by while eating an Ekiben feels so relaxing. I enjoyed being shown the bathroom amenities aboard the Express. Most of all I loved the large windows on this Sapporo Express.
It looked as if you were riding through the Wisconsin countryside along the lakeshore of Lake Michigan. Very beautiful and familiar geography. Thank you 🙏🏻 so much.
That's a beautiful train trip. Thank you for sharing. I was at Onumakoen recently and you are right, the scenery is really cool. I enjoy catching that train, and the little trains around Hokkaido too. Good memories.
Hello travelgeek. Nice videos you make. Really eye catching and relaxing. hope you are being funded adequately to make such videos and enjoy luscious meals. Japan is a beautiful country and people are hard working and have mannerism. This shows the upbringing.
I would want to visit Sapporo the most probably, I love the cold and snow and there are not as many people which seems a lot more relaxed than in a lot of other cities. Oh, and of course delicious Sapporo beer! 🍻
Kiha 261 1000 series has started in 2007. disel engine train. When I rode a this train, acceleration is fast. I live in Hokkaido. Hokkaido is many nature is best condition.
Hokkaido was fully incorporated into Japan in 1869. But to be fully accurate, the Matsumae clan was given the domain (in Matsumae) in 1590 by Shogun Hideyoshi Toyotomi. Centuries prior to 1590, there were settlements of Japanese in Hokkaido.
Kluci Japonský máte ty jídla esteticky hezké . Jen u nás v Česku zase pokud to tedy ještě uvaří někdo správně je to prostě takové jiné a nám to vyhovuje takový gulášek svíčková koprová jo to bych vám přál ochutnat od někoho kdo to umí a nešidí to možná by jste se divili jak je to dobré .
Will JR keep the Hokuto line open when the Shinkansen to Sapporo is completed in a few years? It's also interesting that the Hokuto line trains are diesel rather than electric.
Good Day, I was told that it's best to wear winter boots/shoes to Hokkaido in December due to snow and wet floors. Is that true? I'll be bringing my children for holiday with me, so i would like to seek your input seeing that you're such a seasoned traveller. Thank you in advance!
Paper! Lost again! That’s about 736 videos in a row now i’ve lost. I keep saying I won’t play anymore, but you talk me into it each time. 🤦🏼♀️ Such beautiful scenery, even under snow its still beautiful.
@@travelgeekphotography Yea, it really need to highly concentrate about it. As I took before, I looked at the map frequently to make sure I've not miss the station.😆
Yes, the previous language was Ainu, in the same language family (Japanese) but different words & more sound combinations. Time and geopolitics (split between Japan and Russia, both of them wanted their islands for themselves) haven't been kind to them, as the native speakers are dying out.

Whether it is sunny or rainy or snowy, it's a beautiful ride.

Surprised that there aren't a few vending machines on board. Nice video.

I guess scissors. Hey there are trams in Sapporo! The Shinkansen connection to Hokkaido has recently opened.
Wow, my comment on your last video was asking about a trip to Hokkaido, but you were way ahead of me! Thanks! 😍
Haha I'm planning
to travel more in Hokkaido so
please stay tuned!
Thank you. Good video🙂.

Saporo very cool!
That must be a stunning jurney on a calm, summers day
Very interesting journey. Thank you
Regarding the train itself this used to do Seikan Tunnel trips pre March 2016 opening of the Hokkaido Shinkansen route
I love travelling by train 🙂
Player in Liverpool ▶️ Tottenham Hotspur ▶️ Stoke city ,The legend it's too (Peter C.)❤❤
Scissors! It's a tie hehe

I've asked my bottom and it said very clear DIARRHEA; so I'll have to follow it!!!!!!!!!
Very nice👍
Great content. I love it. 👍👍👍😍😍😍

Could you do a trip to Nikaho, Japan? It's the sister city to our Shawnee, Oklahoma.
nice🎉

4:35 There’s a “secondary sink” next to the toilet-maybe that’s an accessibility feature?
Japanese trains usually have a secondary sink in a restroom for convenience😃
You consulted with your backside whether to get off at a particular train station in Japan and it told you to remain on your seat?
Where do you get that squirtle background is the important question?
Parabéns,imagens maravilhosas ❤❤❤❤❤❤
You missed the Koboro Station(小幌駅), that after Oshamanbe. It is the most secluded station in Japan
I actually tried to shoot it but missed it while looking at the phone haha
That was really an instant between
two long tunnels😅
@@travelgeekphotography Yea, it really need to highly concentrate about it. As I took before, I looked at the map frequently to make sure I've not miss the station.😆
UK rail could learn a lot. Japanese trains are really clean. My Local train from Warwick to Stratford upon Avon is gross 🤢
Great trip. My biggest question is, what the reason about Shinkansen can't reach Sapporo until today? But anyway, nice train.
Shinkansen to Sapporo is now under construction and will be opened in 2030.
Very nice train ride, I love seeing Hokkaido. Interesting that it wasn't part of Japan until 1869. Did they have to change their language?
Yes, the previous language was Ainu, in the same language family (Japanese) but different words & more sound combinations. Time and geopolitics (split between Japan and Russia, both of them wanted their islands for themselves) haven't been kind to them, as the native speakers are dying out.
More interesting is What happened to the Ainu people? Are there any left?
@@nikolaykrotov8673
Some Ainu people remained in Hokkaido still living in their own lifestyle and others scattered around Japan.
Beautiful scenery & bitchin bento 🦑😋does “squid rice “ have a formal name ?
It's called "Ikameshi", Hokkaido's
local food🦑 Rice-filled squid!
👍👍👍
I wonder why there are no trams in Cyberpunk. ^^
Can you tell the application you use in your video to track the speed of the train?
Hi! I use Speedometer

Since when did Japanese express trains install announcements in Chinese (Mandarin) ?
HOW ABOUT "WAKANAI" THE NORTHERN MOST PART OF JAPAN?
