That grey roll neck jumper is very cool. Fisherman's vibes!

Ha! Thank you! It was the one jumper I managed to keep dry throughout. Fisherman vibes are an unexpected bonus!

I'd have loved a silky! It was a toss up between that and a pair of gloves. The silky is still a priority though!

The distress calls would have haunted me and put a downer on the trip. Was chuffed to see it reunited :)

Superb trip and filming. I've got a trip to Guirdil on the cards for hopefully next year. Looks an amazing setting - Kearvaig without the sandy beach. Did u have the place to yourself for the entire 10days?

Hello and thank you very much! Kearvaig has been on my list for some time and I'm hoping it's my next one. Guirdil is an amazing one to visit even though the bothy holds no heat at all. There were two nice chaps who stopped in for one night of the 10 I was there - other than that I had the place to myself and, if the bothy book is anything to go by, no one had been there for the 2 weeks prior to my visit.

@scottishtones Kearvaig remains the best bothy I've visited so far and I'm sure you'll love it. I'm definitely looking forward to visiting Rum and esp Guirdil Bothy although I hope I won't have the trek in the dark and that very deep burn crossing 😀 I'll also remember the 4 season sleeping bag 👍

I'll need to schedule Kearvaig in very soon for I still have itchy feet! The burn crossing is a little sketchy at times but there's a few places upstream that make it easier (just not in a weather warning). Hope you have a lovely time!
