  • A Denial Of Service (DoS) attack is an attack where a device or service becomes unavailable to devices that need it. One attack that can lead to a Denial of Service attack is ARP Spoofing.
ARP Spoofing is when an attacker modifies the IP Address in an ARP message instead of using the real IP Address of their machine. If this ARP message makes its way to other systems, it can cause their ARP Tables to be populated with bad IP Address to MAC Address bindings. This is known as ARP poisoning.
Dynamic ARP Inspection (DAI) is designed to prevent ARP Spoofing and can keep your systems from having their ARP Tables poisoned.
