I have been looking for this full game ever since it happened since I couldn't watch it live. Searched for it for months from the usual channels, but only 2-minute "highlight" reels that didn't do it justice (like, not even 1%) Finally stopped looking for it probably now about 2 years ago ... And now here it is! Thanks so much!

Some fans left early. People that were there said maybe 400 fans, if that, of the 16,300 were actually headed for exits when the comeback started. And from people that were there a lot of those people came back to their seats too. Still very rare for even that few to leave early.

Wizards problems, short of everything? No youth movement will work without leadership and I am not referring to coach or coaches. Usually in a youth movement guy or guys mature. What you have is a mixture of role players in both veterans and youth with no leaders. Kuzma is a scorer waiting to be traded. The rest score, everybody does this is the NBA, but defending is just a hair above what you would likely witness in another up and down bogus All-Star Game. Washington should trade Kuzma for his sake. Perhaps he could end up with a contender. Drafting now is difficult, the combination college, international, G-League, Ignite, etc., these young guys come in eager to score and shoot three's. Most are not NBA ready and the G-League really isn't any help because they face players there who are not NBA ready either and most likely may never be ready. Many end up going overseas to play if they want to continue. The point is the youth movement list with guys who can lead and adapt impact fully is small. The consistency, the mental and physical toughness with that maturity is difficult and for the really great players it does not show up right away. Especially for the 18-19 year olds. In the case of the Wizards I can't think of one player right for this team. Does that mean they all should go? No, it means the leaders they need on the court aren't there. No coach or combination will work in this situation. Unlike a place like L.A. or places that have leaders and talent but just don't like their coach. Also, if you are a team leader as a player you can't do it from the bench if you are not playing. A game is a game, it isn't a work week with weekends off. You do not rest on game day. You can scale back practices but not game day. Having a player(s) miss games for "rest" is not a legit reason. You are there to compete and not just for rings. So what can the Wizards do? I think their best acquisitions, whether it be draft, free agency, or trade are not yet on the team or in the G-League. Stop acquiring the guys other teams want to get rid off. Expiring contracts just to get extra draft picks? A second round pick is a roll player at best, no longer a collegiate or international star. Drafting and especially scounting is an art. Plus if you lose too much for too long, any good all around player won't want to come to your team. Lebron James, Chris Bosh, and Dewayne Wade, started that trend in Miami quite awhile ago. The televised celebration Big 3 signing. Likely how Ice Cube got his idea for that Big 3 league he sponsors. Ever since then the days of Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, and Larry Bird, staying with teams that drafted them ended. Then it became max contracts and showtime. Wins only matter in order to obtain enough to be a legit playoff bound contender. In order to please an aging star a franchise drafts his son and undeservingly puts the son on the court with the Dad. That speaks for itself. As soon as Lebron goes so will Bronny. Showtime.
