For those new to my channel (subscribe now bit.ly/SubscribeToJillianButler), I am Jillian Butler from Sydney Australia. A few years back, I left my corporate job to pursue my passion for food and baking. I started a successful cake shop in Sydney that I ran for 7 years and there were lots of lessons that I learned along the way. Now, after selling the business, I’m making more and more videos to share the insider baking secrets of professionals. I hope you enjoy it as much as I love sharing it with you. Wow, Great tip! Thanks for sharing and subscribing!
I just started in the cake centre at work. Can we use the chocolate in a plastic piping bag or does the paper one work better? Thanks! I am hoping to be able to write better then I do now!
Hi ..
Kindly make a bread making tutorial please🤗
Thank you so so much for this!!! One question tho, can I use this to outline cake design even on the side of the cake, I mean vertically?
Hi TT, you can try to write on the cake vertically if you have a tilting cake pedestal - do you have one?
❤️
Thsnk u Gorgeous
Butterpaper aano cut cheyunna
Good job dear !!! Is that possible by plastic piping bag instead of baking paper? Thank you.
Pode colocar em saco de confeitar plastico, ou só em papel?
Thank you dear... great tips👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️
Can we put this pratchment bag in microwave to reheat chocolate?
Hi safa, yes you can but do it in 10 sec bursts because if the chocolate gets too hot it will burn. Once its burnt the chocolate will become grainy and you'll have to start all over again. Happy writing!
Quite insightful vedio. Will make sure to practice.
What other paper can I use if I don't have baking paper
Hi Maya, you could use the plastic disposable piping bags in size small and cut a very tiny hole. But I find that with plastic it's harder to seal the end of the bag enough to get the right pressure used for writing. Give it a go and let me know how you go!
Lot's of love from india ❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏
Love ya back!
This is lovely. Can I use normal vegetable oil if I don't have coconut oil?
Thanks Kevin! Yes you can!
You are awsome
Can we write with chocolate sauce like using Hershey’s chocolate syrup
Thanks . Pls where i can find the paper of the latter
Love you dear 😘
From India
how much oil do you put in your chocolate
Hi
Can I use Hersey dark chocolate chip and microve it with coconut oil and design a plain cake
Hi Santhi - yes, absolutely!
200 rows whoa
I am sorry what is 1t ? A tablespoon or a teaspoon of?
Can I do the piping using a regular plastic piping bag? I don’t have that oven paper
You could but it wont give you as much control over your style. Give it a go and let me know how you go!
@@JillianButler it went well, thanks 😊
1/2 cup or 2 cups? Sorry confuse of 300gms
Hi Alberto - you're right, it's 1/2 cup which converts to roughly 90g of choc chips. I've corrected the recipe and thanks for commenting!
Me also don't have oven papar😮😮😮😮
Will the letters solidify later on?
Hi Grace, yes they will solidify. I find it much better to put the cake in the fridge for 10 minutes to cool the surface of the icing. Makes the chocolate harden more quickly. Happy writing!
Hiii, is there a different if i use disposable plastic piping bag?
Hi Hani thanks for your question. It will only be different if the disposable bag has a noticeable crease where the bag is joined and you may have a thin ribbon or tape style of rope coming out of the hole. If this happens just make the hole slightly larger and hold your bag up a little higher which will give the chocolate time to form into a round rope shape. Happy writing and Happy Holidays! J
@@JillianButler hi..I already try using it..but the chocolate doesn't flow up consistently😅 sometimes it kind a stuck and suddenly burst out and make my line shaky/inconsistent. Not sure is it because i am using the plastic piping bag or what.
@@hanifarina3730 yes so try using my parchment paper cone and you’ll have success! Good luck
Hii Hani, yes but u can wash and reuse it again
What is 1t coconut oil? 1teaspoon or wat?
Hi ooi mandy! Yes, its 1 teaspoon of coconut oil!
Can we use it to drip cake?
Hi Ali, yes you can but its easier if you put it in a squeeze bottle with a small hole. It will give you more control and you wont have to make several piping bags to finish one cake. Happy dripping! J
@@JillianButler
Thanks alot😀
Simple basics cake writing
Hi Julia, can i be ur friend
I am working as pastry chef
Hii Julian
But how can I speed up?
Hi Ravi, it all depends on the fluidity of your chocolate. If it's quite thin then the chocolate will come out quicker and you can writing faster. Try adding 2 teaspoons of coconut oil instead. But be careful because there's a fine point between the chocolate being nice and thin to it becoming too runny and blurring your lettering. You may have to experiment with the quantities. Let me know how you go!

Practice Alphabet !
Muahahahaaaaa
May I ask what 1t is ? 1 teaspoon or 1 tablespoon, please ?
Yes, anytime you see these it means:
t= teaspoon
T= Tablespoon
Happy baking! J
Hi, is it tsp or tbsp oil??
Hi Jesh its 1 teaspoon. Thanks for watching!
Hiiiiiii sweetie
I have this pans size
2 pan 6×3 inch
2 pan 8×8×2 inch
2 pan 9×9×2 inch
1 pan cheesecake 9 inch
My question how I can use them instead the 9 inch round like what u use or the other channel use if they use for example
7×7×3 square
Or any size in world hhhhhh
And the time baking and temperature 😅
Pleas I need to have sexy cake after I done and high not small in pan
I dont wanna buy all the sizes 😤
Thank you so much
Hi Lulytaa, you can use any of these cake pans you like, just make sure you don't fill them any higher than 3/4 full. If the batter fills up more than half way then add at least 10-20 minutes to your baking time. Good luck! J
Seems whoever made the video has problems with focussing the camera.
