76 years old now and I tried to make a guitar when I was seven years old out ot a King Edwards cigar box a strip of wood and copper wire strands'. Can't hold a candle to Wayne Henderson a truly gifted man. Been listening to him play and known about his work for decades.
It’s the man himself that makes the guitars so special. In all honestly they don’t sound much different than a Martin I can get but the fact Henderson guitars are made by Wayne makes them so cool! Just a humble southern good ole boy who whittles out guitars with a pocket knife. It doesn’t get any better than that 😎👍🏻.
As part of an Airstream RV unit, I’ve been fortunate enough to have been to Wayne’s home, museum and shop (twice) during the Galax Music Festival. Fascinating guy for sure. #downtoearth
just got home from a performance by wayne at a presbyterian church in south park. pa. (about 10 mi S. of pittsburgh,pa) this evening....he visits up here once a year....him and his band put on a great show....have a safe trip back home, wayne and GOD bless...
Ha what a craftsman and an absolute artist what I really love is the genius that goes into his instruments and the door behind him doesn't have a lock in it Ha ya just gotta love country folks I'll get around to it some day thank you mr Henderson hope you stay well during this virus dealings stay safe stay strong
I am a fan of Wayne. I would love to own one of his guitars. I would also like to see the daughter do a video on making the pick guards. Awesome video. Thanks for sharing it.
I never believe people who say they are really good, and never believe people who say they are no good. In science it is called the Dunning-Kruger effect. The more you know, the less you THINK you know. The less you know, the more you think you know.
My first guitar I made in school and it was a can with a board and real strings. It didn't sound amazing. I've yet to build my second guitar :^) Wayne's guitars are a whole lot better!

Hello Wayne, are you a Red Sox fan, you build fantastic guitars, I am Dutch living in Gaudeloupe !!
Makes you want to yell Yee Ha! Beautiful craftsmanship and music from such a humble man, wonderful!
Met Wayne one year at Puget Sound guitar camp. A great player and a fine gentleman.
Plays them as well as he makes them .... Lovely

Just a heads up , it would appear it was Wayne’s take on ‘wheels’ by Cher Atkins 👍
OK, here's the deal. I'll trade you 100 Politicians for 1 Wayne Henderson. lol
He told the most hilarious semi-dirty, yet clean, joke I've ever heard when I saw him in Richmond one time.
